Love of Silom (Uncut Ver.) - episode 7

Another great episode. This episode dealt with some key issues in the story-line. The re-occurring friction between Krit and his parents was intensified, Wayu's job and the effects it has on his relationship with Krit came to head, Wayu's sister's disappearance is resolved, the criminal case Krit is working got some spotlight, Krit and Wayu finally took that trip that Wayu wanted from an earlier episode, Wayu and Sky resolved their conflict, Mind got confronted with the truth of Wayu's relationship status, etc. That finale review is going to be long looking at all these different issues.

There is significant progress in this episode; definitely not a filler episode. The ending has me on the edge of my seat because it could mean that the ultimate confrontation of truth between Krit and his parents is on the horizon.

I will watch episode 8 tomorrow, then I will be fully caught up.

We've talked a lot about "Duang" in this group. Broadly popular. I loved it. Feel-good fluff done right.

I remember "Jun & Jun" as being fairly popular in this group. I'm surprised that the average MDL rating (7.3) isn't a bit higher. I personally thought it was good but not top-tier.

I enjoyed "Knock Knock Boys", despite considerable weaknesses (esp. in story and writing). It's very lightweight comedy with some parts better than others, but generally cute with just enough sex appeal.

I haven't yet watched "Revamp", but most seemed disappointed, especially given the big-name cast.

Same here. I had it on my list since it aired, so I gave it a try. I like the fact that the leads are adults who already worked and gathered a bit of life experience. I'm slightly bored with all the high school / university series, where problems arise quicker than a product placement pops up in Flower Boy because the leads never thought that talking to each other may be a simple solution. I'm feeling too old for this! ;-)

Re Whishing Upon the Shooting Stars : Yes it's nice seeing adults too, now that I think about it all my CW BL are with working adults : A Dog and a Plane, ChermChey, Fake Fact Lips and Love of Silom. You made me laugh 😆

I'll attempt to watch an ep tonight. I've seen EP 1 and then put it on hold, but I can't remember why.

I have the exact same opinion as Mr. P on the first three titles.

I have seen Revamp and enjoyed it, I rated it 8/10. I was a bit surprised by the low rating of 7.3 and some reviews were pretty hard but some people were disapointed because they expect something pretty dark and it was more comedic than dark. I enjoyed the actors (the ones I knew and the ones I didn't) I was happy to see again BounPrem together and it has been years since I saw Barcode after KinnPorsche. I recommend you to try it if you don't expect something dark.

In parallel to all the airing series, I'm watching older BL that you recommended here in the group or that I found either by chance or in one of the lists in MDL.

Last week I finished the following series:

• This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans, my first BL ever was Pit Babe, so I mostly watched it for Sailub and Pond. Nothing extraordinary but I spent 2 nice evenings. 8/10.

• A Breeze of Love, a Korean short series (8 eps x 20 min each), about meeting your first love again after 5 years. It was cute, not too much drama, no NC scenes. 8.5/10

I'm heading home tomorrow for a week, so I don't think I'll have much time to watch anything other than the airing series, but if I find a bit of time, I have the last 8 eps of Perfect 10 Liners as well as Always Meet Again on my list.

Yep that's why. I watched the first ep again last night since I couldn't remember most of it and got to that point and stopped, again. Does this drama have quite a bit of NC scenes or was that an attention grabber for the viewer to keep watching? I could skip over that and keep watching if it's worth it.

I will put it on my schedule I had a blast watching the GMMTV Lineup so I'm excited for this one too ! If a lot of people want and can watch it live maybe we could create a discussion to comment there while watching.

The GMMTV watch was sooo much fun!! I wish I could join for the DMD watch, but I'll be away and not likely to watch in the middle of the night. Actually I'll be in Dora's time zone, which is one more hour behind than my normal one. Waaah!!! I'll have to read everyone's posts about it later!

Imagine being in either the very first time zone to see the new day before everyone else, or the very last (most behind) time zone at the end of the day. Maybe that's what's "the ends of the earth"? I'm going to learn more about that.

Oh wow, I googled and the very last time zone is part of the US territory. They are islands designated as National Wildlife Preserves. Prob not a place to travel to, I suppose. The next to the last zone is the American Samoas.

I've traveled from Asia back home and "relived" half of my day again, lol. Isn't that strangely fascinating?

Only 2 of these I have watched. Duang with you and revamp. Revamp was disappointing but BounPrem are ride or die. I watch everything they've done. Including Even Sun. It's not a horrible watch for me though. Duang With You is close to a perfect school drama, it was really hard to watch at the beginning because of Duang but (for me) it went from being a 5 to a 9 for me, with some moments in the drama being a 10.

I'm not usually into school dramas, but I said that about The Eclipse, too, and it's my favorite of all the ones I've watched. So, I've been planning to eventually watch this. I have heard mostly good things about it.

I really enjoy shows with good friendships and romances that have a lot of time. Not really a fan of when the couple barely gets time together as a couple. I also do not care for the 11th episode breakup that some bls do..
