I was going to watch the second episode of Winter Sun but it's almost 6AM so I think I will only watch a few minutes.

(re "Moonlight Chicken") Likewise one of my all-time faves, especially the Heart /Li Ming storyline. The quality is at a whole different level than most Thai BLs. @Art Girl: I'm sure you had your reasons for dropping, but this is such a widely popular and respected title that you might consider giving it another try.

(re "Winter Sun") Still haven't started on it, and definitely won't have time today (guests). I'd rather wait and get maximum enjoyment than rush it. In any case, I'll catch up by Friday, so I can join in the group-watch banter.

Winter Sun ep 1-4 : I love it. It's relaxing and peaceful, but it's pretty fast-paced, especially for a 16-episode drama.

Surprisingly I'm more attached to the main couple than the second couple, which is rare for me.

After watching 4 episodes, I can say I feel the same way.

If you consider watching it again I can give you other details that might help you decide. It is actually on my “cute and fluffy” list, not because it’s cute and fluffy but because there was enough sweetness to make it a comfort watch for me. I’ve watched it twice. Also EarthMix and GeminiFourth are great in it, as is Khao, as a supporting character.

It may come up but it's fairly rare for me to go back to past attempts. Mostly cuz there's so many to choose from. If I do it'll prob be to watch EarthMix. 😁 and be in the right mood!

I love My Royal Nemesis

I watched EP 1 last night for smth lighter and cuz I wanted to laugh. I'm stressing myself out about leaving again and wanted enough of a distraction. This drama did that so I'm looking forward to more eps.

Before starting Nemesis I watched EP 1 of Journey With You and it wasn't quite what I had hoped for. For a K-drama I was surprised to see some OTT acting, which is an instant turn off for me. The acting isn't feeling believable to me. I'm not sure I want to keep watching so I might put it on-hold for now.

I must say that so far the vibes that I got from the trailer are not the vibes I am getting from the series itself. The first episode threw me. It seemed weird to me.

Their is definitely some deliberate tension building between the leads.

Let me see where this is going.

I know My School President is popular, but it was just a standard school drama to me. Better put together than most but not anything special.

Yes, "Moonlight Chicken" is one of several BLs that seriously and sensitively address deafness.

Some others: "See Your Love", "I Hear The Sunspot", "Blue Canvas of Youthful Days"

Love of Silom ep 10 : Like someone mentioned before, it feels like not much happened in this episode and the story didn't really progress. And I'm not a fan of episodes where the two leads barely have any scenes together. But I have high expectations for the next episode. We need to see Krit stand up for himself in front of his father, and I absolutely don't want that to happen only in the final episode—it would feel way too late. Even episode 11 would seem a bit late to me.
