Oh! My Sunshine Night: Have only seen the first episode, but comments say it's too long. I already agree. 😅 I am using dailymotion to watch it so I have to use my trick to get around ads too. I tried finding an official site to watch it on but no luck.
I think there are worse dramas out there but it sure was long and aimless. I tried to like it for OhmFluke but they had bad luck when it came to scripts and their execution .I can't remember the story clearly but the first word that came to mind was apples.🤣At least I remember there were apples involved. I think it was my intro to Peterpan so that was a positive. Hope you enjoy 🙂

Oh goodness! This will be a rather revealing answer then. The funny thing is that my first BL was KinnPorsche, I watched it was it was airing. After that my 2nd was Love in the Air. Which has definitely spoiled me in terms of quality.
I'm very open to any type of show, however I tend to stay away from slice of life/purely fluffy shows. On the flip side of that I love me some angst but its rare I will finish a show that has a "bad ending"
The Untamed is the best show ever, I will be taking no notes lol. But I also loved Khemjira, Desire:The Series, Word of Honor, Last Twilight, My Beautiful Man and idk if this is considered controversial or not good? But I did enjoy TharnType. But again, I am very open to watching any type of BL/Danmei/etc

I also enjoyed this more than I thought I would, given that Boss & Noeul are hard to match. Since I already knew the messy story from the Thai original, I didn't have to overthink it, plus I liked that they improved the ending of the story.

I'm not crazy about the comedy style, especially four seasons of it, but I did indeed watch all four seasons, so I guess there was enough that I did like. That being said, most others seemed to love the series, so I guess I'm just being a grouch.
Unlike others I saw the Japanese version first and other than the start which was a bit confusing, I loved it a lot more than the Thai. I feel like Japan really cut out all unnecessary scenes with secondary characters and focused so much more on the main couple. I like the Japanese couple a lot more too. Some of their scenes seemed more natural than the Thai version.
So far I haven't seen any other BLs this year that I got excited about. 🥲

I'm actually half way through 4Minutes! I was watching it with a friend but they got busy and I was waiting. But I think they're not super interested anymore so I might finish the last few episodes. My Stand-In however looks super interesting, thank you!

I watched this drama early on and mostly liked it. I skipped the PeteVegas scenes though.
One of my top favs cuz of BossNoeul. Again I skipped over the hardest parts of FortPete's scenes.
I wonder if the toxic dramas of today are more acceptable cuz the rating sure seem to reflect that, compared to both of the older titles just mentioned... A random thought that popped into my head just now.

Interesting observation.
As we've talked about recently, average MDL ratings seem, on average, to be at least 0.5 higher nowadays than a few years back, maybe even more, and my impression is that it's mostly rating inflation and/or BL community enthusiasm. (One might attempt to argue that the quality standards are higher today, but looking at specific titles then vs. now, I don't buy this argument.)
It could indeed be that there is more viewer enthusiasm these days for toxic dramas.
