Payback episode 4.

Well this was an episode of strange things: flashback of Sun and Jay first meeting with Sun wearing the big bunny head while doing it with Jay and Jay's uncle/dad? being introduced. I thought the manager guy was already quite quirky at times, but the uncle/dad figure was another type of whacky. 😅

I don't know how I feel about the plot choice of Jay forcing himself on Sun (the scene where the last episode ended) being just Sun's imagination, because based on this episode I would not put it past Jay to actually do something like that. And dang Sun is certainly not getting a break, I feel like all the guys in his acting class group are just snakes and he should just avoid them at all cost.

I don't know is it just me, but there seems to be some signalling that the manager and Sky could be the second couple of the show. Could also be that they aren't, but Sky didn't look too happy when the manager (Kajorn) tried to imply that he should be shipped with Sun. Sky seems to just generally be very attached being around Kajorn, so that is why I am thinking he might have some types of feelings towards him.

I was trying to binge-watch Journey with You, but I'm struggling to keep up with everything that's going on. So I'm calling it a day and giving up for today. Maybe I will just rewatch a few episodes of a BL I like instead.

oh, i hope you feel better soon. i think rewatching something warm and fluffy will help

Honestly I couldn't imagine watching anything I have to read subtitles to while sick so I say you're already a champion! Hope you feel better.

Same, I felt so unsatisfied with like the last 4 minutes. This is how I imagine it would be better. Yin Qi at the table with his sister discussing how their younger brother can now take over all princely duties so Yin Qi is now free and then sister asks if Pei Yan Zhi has arrived yet and Yin Qi tells her it will be tomorrow and he's really excited because even when he was finally healed enough to travel, they decided to wait until the younger brother can take over to reunite, with Pei Yan Zhi going to support his older brother and Yin Qi not wanted to take any chances with his father after he confessed his love and everything. Then cuts to the bridge scene and Pei Yan Zhi arrived early and they hug and still have the flashbacks. An ending kiss and cut!

This is how it ends in my head, because the guessing game they do with the audience is nonsense and cliche in the worst way. And it was an otherwise amazing last episode though.

Has anyone watched Lost to Light yet? I just got around to see the first episode and truthfully, not to my taste. It's short so I don't have a problem with finishing it, but it feels like it should have come out 10 years ago. I don't know if I am explaining it well when I say it's a drama that already feels dated with the over the top acting and sound effects and the children relationship with the side couple being the adult relationship.

I think i'm going to watch it for the bl watch challenge for the sake of filling the music genre slot. I'm just hesitant because the director and screenwriter pair made dinosaur love which was not that great.😅

You are making sense. I get what you mean and now i'm even more wary of starting this.

Me too. Watched till ep4. It's a mini so it'll probably be a happy ending but still curious.

Sorry you have the flu, are you in the southern hemisphere as it is summer where I am so getting the flu is pretty rare during summer time, it's more for the winter time. When I'm sick, I can't concentrate on anything I mostly sleep in the fetus position

I'm in France. Even though it's summer, in my region we often say you can experience four seasons in a single day. We had two days like that this week, and a lot of people, including me, ended up getting sick.
