Winter Sun EP 5
I'm so in love with Qing Lang & Chang Yang's love story. So many touching moments between them, and some sad moments too, for others. It's only 5 eps in and with 11 more to go so much can happen, both happy and sad. I hope my heart can take it. š„²
It was very hard to watch the ex-boyfriend actor break down. I held my breath when it looked like he was going to do smth serious to himself. I was ready to pause and skip. That's a trigger for me due to a past family event and loss of life.
I'm not nearly as happy when the scenes of the second actor couple come on. I don't know what value they add to the story atm. They are cute but I'm not getting why they are there at all. I might be missing smth or the MLs story is so much more compelling to me. š
To shake off the black cloud I'm feeling here's pics of Brulee, the golden doodle. He's watching Winter Sun with me. He's big but he's a good boy. The dogs have been staking out the front window hoping their family comes back. Little do they know it'll be another 8 days!
I've never been alone in this house before so I'm a little nervous. I remind myself there are three dogs that bark madly at the approach of anyone onto the property. I should be safe, haha.
PS - Here's a funny and will cheer me up sharing it: I was feeding the dogs (a little late, but now I know to set my phone alarm!). I had just gotten their food container out and opened it when I spotted a black spider on the floor right in front of me! I tried to avoid stepping on it with my pink bunny slippers so I jumped around, screamed and dropped the doggie kibble all. over. the. place. š³
The dogs went nuts eating the kibble, the spider ran away and I tried to calm myself down while looking for a broom. I have bug trauma.
Srsly. I could write a long detailed book about the many horror experiences I've been through involving bugs. Lots of bugs. That one little spider is nothing, but it triggers strong reactions. Ugh!! šš

i'm still at ep 7. so does that mean there are no closures to the cases? i was thinking his dad doesn't know that por is a bad guy and would be ashamed of himself once krit proves it

The case does conclude in episode 11 in a very boring, i've seen this a 100 time kind of way. Unless there is a surprise, the last episode is just them getting back together and family approval.

there are closures to the case, in ep10. As RX mentioned previously, they could have wrapped up the series in 10 episodes. I liked ep8, but since then it has continuously disappointed me. Maybe wait until tomorrow, as the last episode is airing and binge watch all the remaining episodes.

I didn't have any J-BL to watch anymore since Fake Fact Lips finished last week, so here I am, embarking in My Summer of You which started airing yesterday. So far so good, the first episode is good, reminding me a bit of School Trip: Joined a Group Iām Not Close To (popular guy at school in love with the shy guy).
Starting on it now (Gaga). I also especially like the shy/nerd vs. popular boy trope.
It's also interesting to see Oku Tomoya in a lead role. He played cutie-patootie Asuka in "Minato's Laundromat", but he was probably 16 or 17 at the time, so needless to say, he looks a bit older now.

So far so good, the first episode is good, reminding me a bit of School Trip: Joined a Group Iām Not Close To (popular guy at school in love with the shy guy).

I will start my 5th year in September, and I'll be studying with 2nd-, 3rd-, and 4th-year students because there aren't enough students in each year group. It's only once a week, but I really enjoy spending time with everyone, and I love my teacher.
I know there are initiation classes in various languages (1h, 6 weeks long) for free in the University languages department and sometimes they have Korean, so maybe I'll give it a try. But I already have classes in 5 foreign languages (without counting Chinese nor French, my mother tong), so I'll be pretty busy ;-)
Initiation classes must be so interesting. 5 ! Wow that's a lot.

re Winter Sun : I can't remember who but someone mentioned that it's like showing Qing Lang and Hao Yu from the past (and this person said this before episode 5) so when I was watching the episode I thought this person was right.
