I'm more of a dog person but I think his goal this week is to change my mind.

the big heat wave has passed and now the temperatures are gonna stay under 27°C/80°C

Now the peak of the heat wave is reaching us in Germany. My local temperature right now:

Usually the weather comes to us from northern France within a day at most, but unfortunately the cooler weather you're having isn't supposed to reach us till Sunday night. Phew! It will be a very hot weekend.

Until very recent years, heat waves like this were impossible in Germany. With this increasing trend, I think a lot more people here will be getting a/c.

Team 40° also here (Alsace, Eastern France) after I spent Monday & Tuesday close to Tiffany's region so I could already enjoy the scorching hot weather (41-42°) at the beginning of this week. Similar to Germany, we should go down to 33° on Monday. It may be the first time I have been watching the weather forecast on a daily basis!

A short feedback on the series I watched in the last 48 hours:

• Fake Fact Lips ep10, it was a kind of special episode, but it felt at the same time as the closure episode for the series. Anyway I really enjoyed it, both Ryo and Zen openly talking about their feeling for each other, no drama, just 2 adults in love. Zen got me with his "I've always been the happiest when I'm with you. I love the version of myself when I'm with you the most.", he was my fav character. This episode was a 10 for me. Still unsure if I should increase the global rating from 9 to 9.5/10.

• My Staycation Boy, no idea how I landed on this vertical, 40 eps x 3 min, no big deal, I watched all the eps in one evening, and enjoyed the moment. 8.5/10

• My Summer of You ep1, super happy with the story, just a pain it just aired and I'll have to wait the whole summer to get all the eps. But it's airing on Wednesdays, so still fine.

• I started Lost to You this morning, 9 episodes later, I can confirm I'm hooked. I most probably will watch eps 10 and 11 tomorrow, and then wait until next Friday for the last episode.

I still have Love of Silom last episode to watch and complete the series but I assume I will end up completely desperate, so I postponed it until now. On top, I saw in Gagaoolala's IG that the latest episode of Winter Sun is out and that my fav couple will split, so here I am, expecting to spend an horrible evening with no confort in sight. Just happy I dropped Crazy Love, Moo Moo and don't have to suffer even more ;-)

Which series are you watching right now? Anyone has some nice recommendations for me?

Please share what channels are playing these if you know. Everyone else too, please. Sometimes it is hard to find where to watch.

The first four are JBLs with no international platform yet announced that I know of, but Gaga tends to pick these up, often at the last minute.

"Peach and Me" and "Love Destiny" should be on iQiyi, and "Be My Player Two" on WeTV.

By the way, WeTV is currently having a very good sale on VIP, at least in my country. Even though my subscription doesn't run out till the end of the year, I extended already for another year. While WeTV is far less essential than Gaga or iQiyi, it has just enough for me to want to keep it.

Love Of Silom review

I'll be honest if I've never watched it, I really wouldn't be missing much.

The actual story, I was more invested in the police investigation of the kidnappings and murders of hosts so were vulnerable. The whole informant idea fell through pretty quick where Krit only allowed it when he didn't have feelings for Wayu which doesn't usually work like that.

I'm sorry but I really didn't like Up's acting, like seriously, I preferred it in "My Stand-in." His scenes I wanted to end so quickly too bad he was one of the ML so had the most screen time. None of his scenes have stuck with me. At times, I felt Krit was immature and didn't fully listen to Wayu.

On the other hand, Poom can act with just his eyes and body language and really knows how to deliver a powerful performance. My favourite scene is when he called Krit so he and Singto can sleep in a safe environment. You can feel the hopelessness and uncertainty in his voice when he was unsure who to call that he can depend on as his first priority was making sure Singto was safe. He showed he cared for Singto throughout the drama and took the responsibility when his sister ran away. He could've just said no or do the bare miniumum but he never and did the best he could. He is the one I got emotionally connected with.

I did skip half of the last episode but at times it was too slow and at times it was too fast. There was no in-between for this so sometimes you were stuck behind someone walking so slow and you can't past them or on the fastest roller-coaster. To be honest I had to complete it for the BL Watch Challenge
