Ticket to Heaven eps 5: What a beautiful but upsetting episode. Two quotes stood out to me. When Kongdech confronts him and asks him 'Don't you want to see your parents in heaven?' Man, this made me fume. The other quote was equally upsetting for me and that was when Tanrak has the confessional with Father Arnon and the Father says 'If you think it's wrong...' I hate these types of mind games. I don't know if I can articulate this appropriately but it's like a trap in which something is preached with the underlining meaning and instead of confirming or denying the meaning they instead have the person come to their own conclusion. This is a false conclusion because they have been leading you to the answer the entire time but in having the person think it's their own answer is more powerful because you can fight against others ideas of right and wrong, but it's so much harder to fight against your own.

😮‍💨 Rant over. I love Gemini and Fourth's acting. They have this intensity in displaying their characters thoughts and feelings that made me fall in love with Moonlight Chicken. They excel in serious dramas/plots and I hope to see more from them in that regard.

I see a lot of potential here. The story tends to be on the darker side with some elements of a psychological thriller. It is definitely different from any BL series I have watched before from Korea.

I look forward to seeing where this goes.

for those watching ticket to heaven, i'm curious what ending you're expecting? will it be a heartbreak one since the first ep they showed us that someone close to barth will be ordained? or will it be a happy ending and the one that will be ordained is not barth but a different friend?

I really hope you give it another try.

I remember my feeling during the first episode that it would be a manga-type JBL comedy, but it wasn't that at all. It was (in the style of many JBLs) a really good story with solid acting, tightly focused on the protagonists and the development of their feelings and relationship. It also handles the workplace elements well, without getting too much into the weeds. I know you're picky, especially about JBLs, but I think it's the kind that you'll like.

Fourever You 2 The Sun From Another Star (Arthit/Dao) : I think the supernatural was a good idea so the couples' story doesn't feel to repetitive. I also liked that this couple didn't share a past together, which helped set them apart from the other couples. I really loved this couple and loved them both as individuals, I loved their chemistry. I hope/guess I will see them a bit in the next 8 episodes. 9.25/10
