Tina:
I've no clue really. Maybe someone else who's watching this one could enlighten us?
It is said to be Chinese Malaysian BL, but I'm not sure whether it means it's a co-production or does it mean it's produced by Malaysians of Chinese ethnicity, because they do speak Mandarin in the series. Considering the law in Malaysia they probably release it internationaly and do not release in Malaysia. I hope they won't face any repercussions.

I see. I hope so too. But it can't be added to MDL? hmm
Tina:
But it can't be added to MDL?
MDL doesn't normally cover Malaysia (to the extent it's regarded as Malaysian) - but we can wait and see. Maybe it'll show up ...

One factor that might ironically (very ironically!) provide some legal protection here, if this is indeed a China co-production: Although the Chinese government isn't fond of BL, they're also not fond of others messing with them, so it could be - if it's indeed a China co-production - that the producers are comfortable that Malaysia won't take legal action for fear of provoking the dragon. (Purely my own speculation. I've not seen this anywhere.)

Are you aware that "Cherry Magic: The Movie" (also on Gaga) is a sequel to the series, not simply a movie version of the same thing? It's a satisfying conclusion, so you'll definitely want to watch it, too.
I'm usually a tough critic of remakes of ironic originals that don't need remaking, but in this case, I think the Thai remake is even better: Perfectly executed, with Tay & New in top form.
No I didn't know that, so good to hear I'll spend 2 more hours with this crew that was so good in the series :-)
Regarding the remake, I saw the ratings were slightly above the Japanese original, so I had it on my PTW list for this reason.
Indie Art Girl:
There's also the cute short Valentine's Day special that came after Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!
yes it was cute with the chocolate boxes. I really enjoyed it!
Indie Art Girl:
When Oranges Fall
Ok, you and Mr P advocate so well for this drama, that i'll start it today ;-)
Tiffany:
:I started Fourever You (1st season) because I want to watch Fourever You 2, but for now I didn't get hooked after ep1 like I did with Perfect 10 liners. Let's see after 2-3 more episodes.
If I remember correctly, I wasn't hooked at first either because I was most interested in North's story, and that doesn't come until a few episodes in.
yes I'll do my best to stick to this one for at least 2-3 more episodes, and worst case scenario, I'll move to North's story if I don't feel it.
Tiffany:
You're right, it's nice to switch genres sometimes. It's been a while since I watched something other than romance. I should add a crime title to my August schedule.
yes I missed it so much! But between the constant new airing BL in the past 3 months + all the good Chinese RomCom + the K-Dramas, I forgot a bit about the crime series. I finished MIU404 and Delightfully Deceitful (both completely different styles) and girl that was a good time. Now I still have Taxi Season 2 & 3 on my list, but no idea if I can watch it this month because it's just so full of everything.
jazme:
havent checked mdl yet but is this inn-ongsa's first pairing? and i agree abt pond ponlawit. i first saw him in a bad-guy role in clairebell (gl) and i loved it. this one is better since his exposure is way longer =D
It is indeed. Ongsa was ML with Au in The Cursed Love but I didn't feel any strong attraction between them. Inn was the second "couple" in The Wicked Game.
Watching Pond at the same time in both The Edge of Horizon and Fourever You is a bit disturbing, the bad guy in the first show, the sexy students association president in the second one, but you never get enough of Pond in a lifetime, so that's fine! ;-)

The first time I watched Fourever You, I sat through the whole thing as I'm not usually someone who skips parts of a show I've never seen before, even though I wasn't the biggest fan of Ester. However, when I watched it for the second time, I completely skipped HillTer's story and fast-forwarded past them when they showed up in JoNorth's story. Fourever You gets better after a certain point, so I hope you don't drop it too soon ^^
Tiffany:
I didn't found any Pavel's live with eng sub but there is this playlist of Pond and Phuwin's lives with eng sub : Here
Thanks. I like all of gmmtv actors and pairings so that id good too. I love all actors not just gmmtv bit domundi and change too. I just can't find eng sub. Not even automatic sub. I want to learn more so that is unfortunate sometimes

Thanks for the hint! Yes I will try not to drop, as I really want to watch Beside the Sky and The Sun from Another Star, so it's better even if only binge watching to complete Fourever You first.
I discovered Earth in Crazy Love Moo Moo and it's my first time watching him as main lead in a show, I've got to adjust a little ;-)

He was also a main lead in My Only 12% and Until We Meet Again, which I really liked. He did very well in those two dramas, so you might end up enjoying them too.

i have yet to watch my only 12% but i love until we meet again. just prepare some tissues! lol

Thanks for reminding me that there are three seasons. I'll add the third season to my August schedule. It's nice because there will probably be multiple stories, so we can watch it little by little.

That's interesting. I don't think I've ever watched the same actor in two dramas at the same time unless it was maybe a supporting actor in K-dramas, and even then they were playing similar characters. Since you're watching the same actor play such different characters, I can understand why you might find it disturbing.

If you're okay with interviews instead of live streams, this page has a lot of interviews with English subtitles. I personally really enjoyed Dear Myself.

added both to my PTW list, which by the way is almost exploding since I joined this forum :-D

yes, with 16 episodes each season, I'd rather have multiple stories or I might drop after 8-10 episodes.

Although "UWMA" is my absolute favourite BL love story of all time, I actually didn't like Earth (Cooheart) in his role as Intouch, nor in his role as Tar in "Love By Chance". To be fair, both of these early roles which brought him to fame are severely distressed and traumatised characters, which Cooheart does quite well, but I found him irritating.
However, I loved "My Only 12%", and this was the BL that won me over to Cooheart. He was so sweet together with Santa. (Same goes for the first story in the "7 Project" anthology, which is how Santa and Earth initially got paired - but be warned: the story has some really nasty bullying.)
As to "Fourever You", his chemistry with Pond pales compared to the other four pairings, and Easter is a bit of a shrill character (as is Cooheart). Nevertheless (and in contrast to most), I quite enjoyed the Hill/Easter storyline (basically the first half of the series).

I loved Earth in Crazy Love Moo Moo, unfortunately he appeared only in the first episodes. I dropped the show as soon as his character was out of the story. He must have been the only good thing in this show, if you want me to name something positive in CLMM.
