I read about his reposts on Reddit yesterday but I didn't bother to look at the repost details once I saw Trump's ugly mug. Reddit posters were saying the Justin reposted the disturbing memes and articles at age 13 (in 2024) about "Femicide, Misogynist, Transphobia, Homophobia, and he's trump supporter."
A few things that surprised me: (1) no one checked at GMMTV a new hire's social media before they are brought on board (Justin was an Idol Factory hire), (2) where are his parents or agent? Was no one monitoring a 13yo's post (esp. since he's a celebrity)?
It may seem harsh to some, but this may be the wake up call Justin needs to examine his values and figure out what he actually stands for. He gave a perfunctory apology which sounded so insincere. I hope there's someone out there who can guide him out of this.

GMMTV has terminated Justin Angus Moir (15-year-old actor who plays August in "When Oranges Fall") for some highly objectionable past internet posts.
This is just FYI. I do not mean to start an unpleasant debate in this group about whether or not it's fair to hold a 15-year-old to account for past posts, or about whether GMMTV is doing the right thing or just buckling to a fandom pile-on.
I personally won't allow this to diminish my enjoyment of this lovely series.
It's a shame, as I thought he was promising young actor.
wow, that was fast. poor guy though, he's still young, hopefully he can get his ideals straight (or not-so-straight as in pro-gay =D)

:For me, it depends on what they did.
There have been a few actors I've definitely lost a little respect for because of their views on certain things, but that didn't really make me stop watching them in another series, since their opinions are theirs and mine are mine.
However, if an actor was found guilty of gross or illegal acts, I'll avoid anything they've been in for indefinitely.
