I just finished today's final episode 5 of "Lost To Light" (iQiyi, average MDL rating 7.2 = underrated).
Yesterday I finished the final episode 16 of "Love Class S3" (Viki, average MDL rating 7.5).
Both series are somewhat flimsy, relatively short BL series based on striving idol stories, and both are cast with cutie-patooties. While I enjoyed "Love Class S3", with the flaws (below) offset by the cutie quality, I increasingly loved "Lost To Light", which was cute as heck.
Although it was enjoyable, "Love Class S3" had three major shortcomings:
(1) As with most other Thai-Korean transnational BLs, the language barrier was handled inadequately to the point of irritating distraction. They tried to use English as a bridge, but that likewise failed because Jaemin (the Korean), while magically understanding everything, seems to not speak a word of English (or Thai), while Khun (the Thai) speaks English with a heavy, difficult-to-understand accent, and although he magically seems to understand everything in Korean (including university classes), he speaks only a bit.
(2) They tried to pack in too much "story" in the three-hour runtime, making it feel rushed and at times forced.
(3) The conclusions to the two storylines somehow left me feeling less than satisfied.
Also, it had absolutely nothing to do with "Love Class" S1 or S2, and even the theme of the university love class was peripheral to the story - so why did label it "S3"? It's not as if the first two seasons were such huge successes.
In sum: I enjoyed the series, but it went somewhat downhill after a promising start, with too much jumping back and forth between storylines. For mostly novices, the actors were pretty good, and they felt like real striving idols because, in fact, they mostly are (idols or trainees). The episodes are very short, so it's not much of a time investment.

"Lost To Light" started with a weak first episode that suggested "trainwreck coming" but got much better - and unlike "Love Class S3", there was a single, straightforward story that didn't try to be more than it was.
The cute but quirky characters were endearing, with a sweet group dynamic and some amusing moments. For mostly novices, the actors were reasonably good.
Some might criticise the copycat "Gelboys" vibe as a cheap and superficial knock-off, but I liked it.(Needless to say, "Gelboys" itself is in an entirely different dramatic league.)
At times it was quite funny, but there was one part of the comedy that really grated on me, which was the over-the-top "cat fight" stuff between the two rival ladies. Thankfully, that was just a few scenes. Otherwise, the comedy was alright.
I would've liked a "happy ever after" episode, but the conclusion was fine as it was.
In sum: A cute 'n sweet watch, if one doesn't take it too seriously. Underrated - at least for me.
