I only saw the image first and was scared it was a pairing separation from GMMTV 😱 15 years old is so young ( I don't know what the posts were about)

I read about his reposts on Reddit yesterday but I didn't bother to look at the repost details once I saw Trump's ugly mug. Reddit posters were saying the Justin reposted the disturbing memes and articles at age 13 (in 2024) about "Femicide, Misogynist, Transphobia, Homophobia, and he's trump supporter."

A few things that surprised me: (1) no one checked at GMMTV a new hire's social media before they are brought on board (Justin was an Idol Factory hire), (2) where are his parents or agent? Was no one monitoring a 13yo's post (esp. since he's a celebrity)?

It may seem harsh to some, but this may be the wake up call Justin needs to examine his values and figure out what he actually stands for. He gave a perfunctory apology which sounded so insincere. I hope there's someone out there who can guide him out of this.

p43425:

Holy cow, this happened fast.

GMMTV has terminated Justin Angus Moir (15-year-old actor who plays August in "When Oranges Fall") for some highly objectionable past internet posts.

This is just FYI. I do not mean to start an unpleasant debate in this group about whether or not it's fair to hold a 15-year-old to account for past posts, or about whether GMMTV is doing the right thing or just buckling to a fandom pile-on.

I personally won't allow this to diminish my enjoyment of this lovely series.

It's a shame, as I thought he was promising young actor.

wow, that was fast. poor guy though, he's still young, hopefully he can get his ideals straight (or not-so-straight as in pro-gay =D)

i was so looking forward to this too.

Me, too - but I'm a patient person, and I'd rather they take their time and do it right.

agree!

For me, it depends on what they did.

There have been a few actors I've definitely lost a little respect for because of their views on certain things, but that didn't really make me stop watching them in another series, since their opinions are theirs and mine are mine.

However, if an actor was found guilty of gross or illegal acts, I'll avoid anything they've been in for indefinitely.

I do the same.

me three

Just started ThamePo EP 10

It really shows some of the realities in the idol industry. Favoritism, lack of privacy and toxic fans. Why do people tend to invade another person's privacy and post pictures of them online? I've lost count of the times I've seen someone post a picture or a video of an idol when they just being themselves. So they're smoking, drinking, talking to their friends, or even walking down the street. Why do you care so much? I myself, have also seen famous people in person, but did I pull out my phone and start taking pictures? Hell no. Because I wouldn't do something to others that I wouldn't like being done to me.

I feel really bad for Pepper and Gam. Their relationship was leaked by the company's own CEO or whatever Pemika is, just to hide Thame's relationship with Po. She did it since Pepper is "not as important" as Thame, which is such bullshit. I know that there are a lot idols who are more popular than others, even if they're from the same group, but a company should protect each and every one of their artists.

Also, why are some "fans" so obsessed with an idol's love life?! You should be glad that they can have a somewhat normal life by being in a loving relationship with someone else. As a Kpop fan myself, if the idols that I like end up dating/ married, I would be happy, and wish them a long and happy life together. Love and romance is part of human nature, and last I've checked, idols are humans! Let them love for goodness sake!!

I'm already watching WOF, but a bit slowly so I can time the last few eps when the final drops. 😊
I plan to keep watching Love Upon a Time until the end or whenever I think I've had enough. 🤣

this i'm doing with winter sun =D

There's always a chance I'll drop a drama, lol. It means I haven't made up my mind about how much I like or don't like it yet. 😆

I fully agree with you 💯✅

Don't Be Too Emotional - episode 4

Another great episode. The song remains addictive.

My favourite scene was the dance scene with the violin music. I would call it, "Dancing with the Devil". That scene was so palpable.

I am seeing where the toxic situation of being unable to let go despite the red flags beginning to take firmer roots in little Jane. The lyric "You're a red flag but I am colourblind", is literally manifesting before our eyes.

That imaginary NC scene left me with some very smutty thoughts; thoughts that I am unable to share in this space lol

It is still a 10/10 from me.

I look forward to the next episode.

RXinw:
Double Helix - Finale

As I mentioned before, I love these finale reviews, so I couldn't wait to finish watching the series and to sink my teeth into this review 😃

RXinw:
his actions, whatever the motives behind them, drove Lu Feng insane, literally

I agree with you to some extent. It is hard to say for certain, since Lu Feng was actually diagnosed with a bipolar disorder. The very first symptoms of mental illness are easily missed, so it's almost impossible to pinpoint the day when it started or the event which triggered it. I do agree, however, that Xiao Chen's behaviour worsened the symptoms and heightened Lu Feng's fear of abandonment.

RXinw:
Yi Cheng was trained to not decide for himself

I think Cheng brothers case is not so simple. They grew up under their parents' homophobic worldview and I bet every yuan I've got they've been fed 'being gay is wrong' all their lives. In the beginning Xiao Chen saw his kisses with Lu Feng as 'perverse'. Not only that, he was later forced to take on a 'feminine' role, a submissive role - as if being gay wasn't 'shameful' enough. It was hard to accept, which is why kept asking to be on top. Xiao Chen is by nature a compliant person, one might even say a conformist. No wonder he chose his family over a high-risk relationship with Lu Feng doomed to failure. Lu Feng was naturally rebellious, he was ready to fight for this love. Xiao Chen gave up at the first obstacle, at the slightest difficulty. Because gay love was 'unnatural' and had no chance to survive in the long run. This worldview was imprinted on his mind growing up.

RXinw:
Sigmund Freud would eat this up

I'm no Sigmund Freud, but you might be right. Here's what I think. First of all an incest trope was quite popular in Chinese BLs. I also think Yi Chen was affected by his parents' homophobia. He rejected this part of himself, maybe even resented it. His older brother might have been the only 'safe option' to invest his feelings. I guess I'm not as hard on Yi Chen as you are.

This is just my interpretation, of course.

Thank you @RXinw for your thought-provoking review.

Trains in France, I feel you! Hopefully the train is on its way and you'll be just on time for your concert. Don't forget to request a refund for your train ticket through their online platform, you get one after half an hour delay.

Speaking of France, did anyone else hear that JASP.ER will be in Paris?

"On 25 October 2026, they'll perform in Paris for their only European appearance of 2026, bringing their music, exclusive fan benefits and incredible live energy to The A Festival."
