Random, but does anyone have BL tattoos? I have 5... I have two of the ducks from My Beautiful Man, a panel from the MBM Manga... a panel from The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese Manga... and Tenshi from One Room Angel...

i never had a tattoo but im interested into having a tiny one maybe. i find small tattoos attractive. if i find a small tattoo about a bl that i love a lot id probably do it

Yes! I read that on IG.

I'm currently binge-watching When Oranges Fall.

Now that it's done I have the last two eps to watch. I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would,. My one complaint is I wish "Orange's" character wasn't so immature. Some of his facial expressions and voice are too OTT. And the orange peels on his head? Like why??

I feel like reducing my PTW list so I noticed the following BLs with low ratings. Some are really low. If anyone has watched any of these dramas do you agree with the rating? Or is it underrated and worth my time?

Based on the majority here, I'll keep or delete these titles! I like to only have 7.5 ish and above titles.

Love Hurts - 6.9
Lost to Light - 6.9
Smile After Tears - 7.2
Blazing Him - 7.2
The Summer You Kissed Me - 7.3
Are the Sexy Buttocks Not Good? - 7.3
Love Class S3 - 7.4
Ordinary Love - 7.4

Love Hurts: dump

Lost to Light: first episode it terrible. Does get a little better but I didn't love it overall

Smile after Tears: watch!! Most definitely watch!

Blazing Him: short, fluffy, sweet. Quality is really low though and has a heavy subject (rape and bullying) . I liked it but honestly you can find the same thing in better quality.

The summer you kissed me: Still behind a paywall. Hoping it gets on gaga soon.

Are These Sexy Buttocks Not Good: still airing so haven't made a final call yet, but I like it.

Love Class 3: dump, I liked it sure but if your are choosing on quality, dump

Ordinary Love: Still airing so i still haven't made up my mind yet but it is heading in a good direction.

So far, I've only watched two of these titles, both of them about striving idol groups: "Lost to Light" (in my opinion, significantly underrated) and "Love Class S3" (perhaps marginally underrated). I enjoyed both despite their respective flaws, first and foremost for the adorable cutie-patooties. Both are relatively short watches. For my more detailed final comments, see page 3062 (about halfway down the page).

Oh right, now that u mention it u did talk about the cuties in both, lol! Taking notes! 😁

Hey thanks! Made notes and will see if anyone else comments.

I plan to watch this, but only out of curiosity because of Changyu, who was a contestant in "His Man" (S1). My expectations are low.

Secret of Us seems to be putting a lot behind their paywall. I'm thinking of paying for one single month. Their quality is highly variable, but some of it is good.

I say Love Hurts is mostly boring. I did have a subscription to Secret of Us for a couple of months, it ended right before this one came out. That's when I noticed that their dramas would appear on gaga so I am doing the wait and see game for now. 😅

Be My Player Two ep 2

May contain spoilers!

So this was a series on my watch-when-I-have-space in my watch list. I skipped directly to ep 2. Didn't feel while watching that I had missed anything not watching the first ep.

Generally my biggest question about the show, was IF it will too much watching Bas and Maxky play Johan and North all over again. Happy to report, that most of the time it didn't feel like that. Sure you cannot completely avoid it, episodically since North's character in Fourever you was heavily into gaming and in both shows the characters seem to be of similar age.

What saves a lot from having a dejavu is Maxky's character Thi being veeeery different from Johan. Like honestly night and day and that is a big plus in this case. It is always nice to see actors being able to branch out to different type of roles.

Bas's character Zo has some similarities in terms of characteristics with North, but Zo is definitely more reserved and even shy at times, so bit similar but different enough. I actually like the plot line so far, where Thi is really trying to help Zo build more self confidence, so he can adjust to the gaming team and just open up more.

I was maybe thinking based on the trailer that the romance aspects would be very slow burnish, but Thi is definitely not trying to hide that having Zo in the gaming team was his only motive to recruit him. Aside from the shower scene at the end of the ep (nooo nothing steamy happened, you didn't miss the NC scene), and considering Zo's general shyness, so far Zo has been surprisingly calm about Thi's not-so-subtle advances.

Next ep will air tomorrow, so far this was good enough to continue watching.

Just finished episode 9 and I want to remove them.

Lmao 🤣

When Oranges Fall: its over!! Overall 9/10 for me. I love that the last episode is a time skip to basically graduating college for most of the group. You can feel all of their growth and it's adorable.

I want to talk about their fight last episode and how I think their family situations influenced it. Ko Song's family is 99% of the time apart to the point it was a big deal for his father to ask about his school. Of course the idea of living part didn't have the same impact on him vs Ko2 who's family are such a united front that the idea of separation is probably equal to the end of the relationship from his perspective. I find it interesting how family dynamics really do impact how we process our own relationships outside of family.

And can we talk about how wonderful Ko2's family is. His mom is top tier! She's involved, but not judgmental, present but not invasive, and concerned but not controlling. Honestly all the parents we see are pretty good, but we see Ko2's mom the most so we see it's not a one time thing. She is basically the perfect mom and it's no wonder Ko2 turned out to be a sweetheart.

There is just to much I loved about this drama. The characters go through a realistic growth, the parents, and the nostalgia... Him flipping over the flip phone, playing snake, I know someone already posted a pic of the fortune paper we all use to make in school, to the can on a string (I never made these as we used walkie talkies 😆). And of course Ko/Ko's love story is giving me cute aggression.

This made me LMAO 😭😂🤣💀🥰💖

That's a good observation. I think I'll do the same for now (wait and see).

I can only comment on two of these but I really liked Love Class 3. It was a perfect short binge-watch for a day when I didn’t want too much emotional investment. It does deal with the problems of dating in the K-pop/idol industry but it’s still pretty light. I’d say keep it on the back burner for when you need something cute even if somewhat flawed. It probably deserves a 7.5 rating but I increase my ratings by 0.5 if I really enjoyed the show or a particular character. So I gave it an 8.0.

Sexy Buttocks is cute and surprisingly tame considering the subject/name. I don’t think it’s that great but the episodes are under 15 minutes so I keep watching. I will probably end up giving it a 7.5. But I don’t think you need to watch this one. Oh—but you like age-gap romances don’t you? So then I’d at least try it.
