You missed Ordinary Love too. Which officially has some Aromantic representation! I was over the moon after seeing that. 🥰 While not the best from your list, this drama kind of grew on me like a fungus.

Oh, you're so right! Me bad! I didn't think of it because I'm waiting to see if it comes to Gaga - or if not, I'll binge-watch the fansubber version. I'm especially keen to watch it because I know both lead actors from other good BLs.

aw, i hate those persistent kind. i hope you catch and squash him to death so you can sleep peacefully

I finally managed to kill it... three hours later 😆

p43425:
+ Although this wasn't initially tagged as BL, it seems to be heading toward real BL, not just BL-adjacent.

You're talking about Your Summer, My Storm, right ? I hope it becomes a BL. If it does, I'll definitely watch it. For now, I'm still 50/50 on whether I'll watch it or not. I guess we'll only know once we get closer to the ending.

There are a lot of them that I want to watch, both the currently airing ones and the upcoming ones. I'm taking a screenshot so I don't forget them. Thank you ! 😊

kiyoiale:

On here to say, the drama The Lie We Lived In is crazy good and i've never seen hype about it... It was so well rounded in its story and the chemistry is so AMAZING... pleasee... WATCH PLS!

I really enjoyed it, especially the second half. It's a great binge-watch.

Exactly the same ! I'm curious to see them together. 😊

I'm sad to say goodbye to these characters. I was already crying 30 seconds in. 😭

Thanks! (As if the current flood of BLs isn't already overwhelming enough.)

Yes. I'm definitely watching it through to the end, regardless of where it goes, and I'll be sure to give you my feedback.

Tausend Danke I'm curious, but I have plenty of titles to watch in the meantime, so I can wait. 😆

I just put "Wu" on my Undecided list. Can anyone tell me if it's a really dark theme, horror or yk, stuff like that? I see the rating is very good and I like action (but not blood) so I'm thinking I might watch it at some point.

Don't Be Too Emotional ep 6 :

During the first half, I thought my review for this episode wasn't going to be very positive, and then the second half happened. At first, I felt like something was missing, and I know now what it was : the supernatural genre and demon tag were still stuck in the back of my mind. From now on, I will try to pay less attention to the genres and tags listed on MDL.

I'm sad for Put, and even sadder because Little Jane and him never fully reconciled. But for once, I was on Big Jane's side, and I found it a bit unfair that he was accused of murder. I mean, being suspected of murdering your boyfriend's friend must have been heartbreaking. It also shows how little trust Little Jane had in him.

However, I also understand Little Jane's point of view because Big Jane had lied a lot, and Put mentioning his name just before dying was extremely suspicious.

(But maybe Put knew he was going to die and wanted Big Jane to be happy, or maybe Put really believed that Big Jane was trying to kill him. After almost being choked to death by him, it would be understandable for him to think that.)

I think this is the first time I cried during an NC scene. 😆 The letter from Big Jane was really well written, and I like that the big separation happened halfway through the drama instead of waiting until episode 10 or 11.

The background music is really good and fits each scene, especially in this episode.

I'm curious to see what happens next week.

Don't be too emotional ep 6

Guys for those of you watched the lastest ep questions:

  • How did we feel about the placement of the NC scene in relation to what else happened before and after?

  • About the end of the episode in general?

  • I wasn't really surprised by the placement of the NC scene since it felt like a goodbye scene to me.

  • I'm surprised that the big breakup is happening so early, but I'm glad. I understand your concerns about the plot lines being recycled. I think the manipulation aspect is over, and our red flag is going to slowly change from orange to yellow to green, or maybe it will turn green directly, but I would prefer the change to happen little by little.

It was sad. Now I need something cute and silly. Be My Player Two ep 3 is waiting for me. 😆

ETA : I love the piano version of the OST.

It's really good, with Sky & Nani in top form, but dark supernatural with quite a few dark and scary scenes (not my usual comfort zone, but I'm open to anything good). You could try it, but I tend to think it's not for you. (Disclaimer: Bromance, not BL unless you have a fertile imagination.)

Wu is scary/dark because it’s about fighting demons, so there is some disturbing imagery throughout, but it’s not bloody. And nobody important on the good side dies, although it seems they might. I thought both Sky and Nani were really excellent and the bromance was moving. Krist plays a servant of the demon and is almost unrecognizable in some very scary makeup. Many people thought he was the best part. It is quite suspenseful but rewarding in the end. So it’s definitely “horror” but also about one’s calling in life. I loved it but my instinct would be to say it’s not for you. If it sounds interesting, though, then try it.

I think it was less scary than Khemjira first episodes. Krist's character was the most creepy to me.

i knew it would be bromance, but I wasn't sure about the rest. After all the feedback I'm thinking it's prob not for me.

I'm not sure if "interest" is the right word, lol. More like being influenced by the drama page comments. Thanks for the help, Dora!

I'm going to pass, mostly cuz of the content/theme and the sum of the comments here. Thanks for your input!

I would be very shocked if Big Jane ends up doing a 360 and turns into a green flag, would be almost comical. But yeah we will see how they get back together, and if indeed Big Jane is being sincere now or will the manipulation continue to the very end.
