Don’t Be Too Emotional ep6

I’m emotional. I’m also eager to see where the show will go from here. I thought the NC scene was beautiful. I loved the letter from Big Jane, and the graphic of him flying away. Little Jane is clearly so mixed up and conflicted. I feel for him. But he shouldn’t have made any decisions in the wake of his friend’s death. How could he possibly be thinking clearly.

In general, I don’t like when characters are killed off, Put included. They could have left him in a coma for the same impact.

Overall I thought this was a really powerful episode. I was very moved.

This is the song from when Big Jane was cooking. I really want the end credits song too, but I can’t find it. The OST is so good.

I'm currently rewatching all NC scenes for my research and I think DBTE ep 6 NC scene is giving me the same heartbreaking vibe I've seen in Top Form ep 9 NC scene...

I’ve finished Deep In and Payback. OMG these were both amazing shows. I gave both a 9.5, basically my highest rating.

I have a lot to say but between these and Don’t Be Too Emotional, I am a little overwhelmed with thoughts and feelings. And I haven’t even watched The Edge of Horizon yet.

Is it possible to have too many good shows at once? I could try waiting and binging more, but I remember shows better when I watch them weekly. Plus some shows I just can’t resist.

I have so much more to watch still. I will try to write some reviews later. I know some people have been waiting to binge watch after these shows ended anyway.

A general question for the group:

Should I post upcoming bromance series as well or stick with BL only?

If not, whoever has an interest in bromance can find some titles on my WTA list. I don't go out of my way to search for bromance, but if I come across a good sounding story I usually add it to my list with the label "Bromance" or if I'm not sure I'll put a question mark on the end. 😁

I'm fine as long as it is clearly labeled as bromance. I'm about to start tearing down walls in my house so I cant spare the energy on bromance just yet 😅

Be My Player Two Ep 3 :

My opinion is similar to Laalaa's p3094. The romance is moving faster than I expected, but I actually think that's a good thing. Since we only have 10 episodes, I want to see them as a couple for multiple episodes.

I also think Soh's "I love you" wasn't meant in a romantic way, but rather as one human being expressing love and appreciation for another. I think this episode showed not only how huge Three's crush on Soh is, but also that Soh is interested in him. He was even making flirty jokes, which I wasn't expecting. I hope next week we'll finally see what exactly happened between Jack and Ten.

I'm always so happy whenever I see cameos from the Fourever You cast. I hope we'll get to see every actor from the couples, although maybe I'm asking for too much since that's a lot of people. 😆

I'm excited for next week. I'm really enjoying this series!

Winter Sun Ep 11 :

I feel like a lot happened in this episode because we got to see so many different characters.

Hearing Sister Lan's voice hurt way more than I expected 😭 Even after her death, she's still taking care of the people around her through the memories they have of her and the words they remember she said. I was really happy to get so many scenes with Qing Tian and Wen Shu. It was incredibly risky for Hao Yu to manipulate Han Lu like that when he could have simply told him the whole plan.

Sometimes I'm so mad at Shi Yuhao, and other times I just feel bad for him. I had completely forgotten that we were in 2033 until I noticed Shi Yuhao's watch. Sister Lan died in 2032, as shown on her tombstone.

My heart was aching for Qing Lang and how much he misses Chang Yang. I just want them to spend a hundred springs, summers, autumns, and winters together as lovers.

I absolutely loved the ending. I almost screamed when I saw Chang Yang !

Winter Sun Ep 12 : Guys, please be careful when kissing on the stairs. You gave me a mini heart attack. 😆 Han Lu and the old creep... that was hard to watch 😭 Seeing Chang Yang and Qin Lang happy together healed my heart a little even if it was short. Who would've thought a klaxon could be both romantic and heartbreaking ? I'm really enjoying Qing Tian and Wen Shu's scenes, as well as Hao Yu and Han Lu's. I knew Qing Tian's ex-boyfriend was going to die, but I was secretly hoping Qing Tian could see him one last time. 😭 I love these brothers so much !

I can't remember the last time I watched an episode of Winter Sun without crying. 😭

I can't wait to binge-watch them both. Like you, I remember more of what happened when I watch a series weekly, but my ratings often aren't as high as when I binge-watch it.
