My initial enthusiasm for "Sexy Buttocks" has cooled, despite my love of cutie-patootie Sakai Sho - although that may change depending on where the last three episodes go. On the other hand, the episodes are very short, so it's not much of a time investment.
I'm feeling quite positive about the other five. It's unclear where "Your Summer, My Storm" is going (i.e. whether it will be a BL happy ending), but whatever the case, I love it. Very high production value - and it's got Fukada Ryusei.

That's a good approach, especially since the relatively short total runtime for most of these makes them easily binge-able.

I really liked this one - cute and quite amusing! - but the low average MDL rating suggests that you're in the majority. I didn't even realise that one of the leads is mixed-race until you mentioned it now.
In Kyana Aitsu ga Giri no Ani?/That Nerd Is My Brother-In-Law (Gaga) —a little better than the rating suggests. I’ll probably watch season 2. 7.0
Hmmm. I started off liking this one but got turned off towards the end as it got heavy, which just didn't work for me as a rushed, choppy vertical. On the other hand, this leaves me interested in S2 to see where things go.

I'm starting to make my September watch plan, and I'm confused about the number of episodes for two shows from your list, My Summer of You and Servant Prince. Depending on where I search, I don't get the same number of episodes, it varies from 8 to 12. Maybe I messed up my August plan and they end in August.

I don't know for sure, but my experience is that, when MDL has a number other than 10, it's fairly reliable, more so than Gaga - so I would provisionally assume 12 for "My Summer" and 8 for "Servant Prince".
