I just came here after taking a break and then finishing EP 15. 6 hours left til the last ep. I'll be asleep so it'll be Friday AM before I watch EP 16.
There's parts of the story I don't understand. Might be my ignorance and not being able to put things together. 🤷🏻♀️
ETA: The hard part was a personal trigger of an event that happened, both in the drama and irl, on top of feeling attached to the character of that event in the drama. I don't want to spoil anything.

I believe the video is from last September, so it's nothing new. My interpretation is that it's both a staged fan event and real - maybe not in as a proposal of legal marriage, but at least seriously dating.

That's what makes this drama so beautiful though. The entire drama is laced with horrifying reality with the beautiful cinematography and genuine love acting as a deadly distraction. The correlation to how fans view the BL industry and ignore/not focus on or even be unaware of the sometimes toxic culture it creates.
I was watching a video analyzing how this drama is a love letter to the Chinese BL industry as they broke down different phrases and actions.

I tend to miss ensemble-cast BLs with a lot of episodes, like We Are and Fourever You, so I'll probably miss them too.
The scenery and nature sounds, the chanting and music, the light and dark visuals, and the words written by the writer and spoken by the characters all make it feel so alive and dynamic on a level I rarely experience in film. 🌿
I loved the chants for the God of Death in this episode.

Currently binge-watching Boys in Love. I'm 2 episodes in and there are so many new cuties to discover ! This is cute and fast-paced. Like Mr. P guessed weeks ago, I absolutely love Kim and Mon. 😆 Their smiles are contagious !
I don't know if I should watch all of Boys in Love and watch the last 4 episodes of Winter Sun later, but that would mean waiting until tomorrow to watch them. Or I could watch a few episodes of Boys in Love, stop to watch Winter Sun tonight, and leave a few episodes of Boys in Love for tomorrow. 😭
