when i started watching your summer, my storm, i gave it an 8 in my mind. but as i continue to watch it (i binge-watched it), it slowly climbed up to 8.5 then to 9 =D i'm curious if you'll enjoy this as i did =D

I suspect that, because the leads (Fukasa Ryusei and Ukisho Hidaka) are famous idols in the same group (ACEes), going further than this was seen as problematic. It ends with one of them going to study in London for two years, so it would be an ideal set-up for a sequel, but there was absolutely no indication that this is planned.

Just letting you all know I wont be on here for a few days or a week except to maybe check once in a while I am very depressed and grieving right now and I had to take a week off work and on my way to visiting my parents cause my husky named Duke from when I was in middle/high school just passed away and he was the best dog ever, but I am thankful he lived a long life tho. 😭🥺💔 So I wanted to let you all know incase anyone is worried cause I have not been on in a while.

Yesterday, the first episode of Police in Love with YinWar was released ! I hope I have time to watch it today, but I also want to watch the new episodes of Mr. Fanboy and You Maniac. There are also episodes 5 and 6 of the bromance Four Hands, Two Sonatas. But my first goal is to finish Don’t Be Too Emotional, since I only have 2 episodes left.

I’ll just keep the new episode of Match Point for tomorrow and try to binge-watch Your Summer, My Storm, but I also need to plan my trip. 😆

Yesterday, the first episode of Police in Love with YinWar was released !

I know! I was surprised no one else had mentioned it. I watched it last night and was laughing my head off. A nice start, I thought.

Can't wait !

Don’t Be Too Emotional : To take the title again, it really made me emotional. Even if I was frustrated sometimes (I may have screamed at my screen a few times 😂), I was invested, and it made me feel things, either good or bad.

I liked seeing all the moments with the family, even the frustrating ones (Jet, I'm looking at you, but I'm glad he got his redemption arc). The chemistry between Big Jane and little Jane was so good. 🥰

Big spoiler for episode 10 ahead ! I felt like the amnesia cliché wasn't really necessary, but I found it interesting to see it in a Thai BL, when I usually associate it with an old Korean straight romance cliché. At first, using this cliché didn't bother me, but I felt like it dragged on a bit too long.

I think the things I will remember the most are the OST (all the versions of Colorblind ! I feel like I heard a lot of different versions, and it was often stuck in my head) and the chemistry.

I'm hesitating between rating it 8.5 or 9, but I think that in the last episode, they could have gone deeper into everything that happened with Dan. But I also feel like I got pretty attached to the characters. I need to check why I decided to stop watching it weekly after episode 8 before I decide.

I also enjoyed the first episode. I don’t usually like comedy but it worked for me. Plus to more YinWar interacting on screen, the better. I also love the fake relationship trope. I look forward to more.

I was going to give it an 8.5 because quality-wise it’s nowhere near as good of a story as things I rate a 9.0, but I decided that the wonderful OST song plus the great chemistry and NC scenes elevated my enjoyment enough for it to deserve a 9.0

I decided to finally rate it a 8.5 because I remembered how, during the first half, I really wanted to see the supernatural elements. 😆
