So what are you all watching right now? Anything good to recommend?

I love Mr. Fanboy too I want to recommend to you Popular Serizawa Acts Weird around Me, You Maniac and Police in Love.

@Portugalia, welcome back!

There has been an unprecedented number of new JBLs over the past month or two, which is itself an interesting fact. As to the individual titles, my favourite of these (same as Tiffany): "Popular Serizawa Acts Weird around Me".

My overall favourite of the currently airings: "Mr. Fanboy".

Indie Art Girl:

Shhh, **in a whisper**, I dropped Class Crush Crisis, My Summer of You and Your Summer My Storm.

You don't have to whisper. I'm not offended, even though I really liked all three. ("My Summer of You" is admittedly slow and not the greatest story/writing, but I loved the lead actors, especially Oku Tomoya.)

For those of you interested in the companies that produce BLs, here’s a breakdown of all the companies under GMMGrammy, including Change, One31, and now WabiSabi. The big deal is that WabiSabi is now under GMMTV, so it will make content for them.

GMM aquires 51% stake in WabiSabi, making it a subsidiary

The recent WabiSabi deal doesn't surprise me at all, given the long relationship between GMMTV and New Siwaj (owner of the other 49%), who has directed quite a few of GMMTV's popular BLs over almost a decade now.

But I'm totally taken by surprise by the fact that Change2561 has been a sister company of GMMTV for years without me even knowing this. Supposedly they operate independently, but I assume there's some kind of grand plan.

This really surprised me too!

Same !

Match Point ep 8 : I'm really enjoying this ! Bay and Sun are so sweet. But the dads, the dads... Thankfully, the mothers are here too.

I'm glad Bay didn't give up on Sun, and organizing their prom on a rooftop so that Sun doesn't miss out was so sweet. I love that kid. And that group hug ! 😭

Sun's dad redeemed himself a bit in the last scene. I guess it will be Bay's dad's turn next week. Oh, and I noticed the matching earrings they're wearing.

I watched the first episode of Class Crush Crisis it looks promising, I like it, a lot of new faces, I'm not used to see so many girls πŸ˜† beside in LoveSick. If I remember correctly it's the first high school BL from Change.

ETA : Today we have the last episode of Knot, honestly I'm trying to lower my expectations, I hope the episode is an hour long to give enough screentime to everyone.

It's more about me feeling self-conscious about dropping dramas so often, lol.

i'm still on ep 8, though i dont know what's wrong with the storytelling, or the acting, or both, but there are times it feels off. maybe it's because of the lack of background music? i don't know lol. but i was so looking forward to boat-oat from my stubborn that i'm just a bit saddened by this series lol
