So what are you all watching right now? Anything good to recommend?

I love Mr. Fanboy too I want to recommend to you Popular Serizawa Acts Weird around Me, You Maniac and Police in Love.

@Portugalia, welcome back!

There has been an unprecedented number of new JBLs over the past month or two, which is itself an interesting fact. As to the individual titles, my favourite of these (same as Tiffany): "Popular Serizawa Acts Weird around Me".

My overall favourite of the currently airings: "Mr. Fanboy".

Indie Art Girl:

Shhh, **in a whisper**, I dropped Class Crush Crisis, My Summer of You and Your Summer My Storm.

You don't have to whisper. I'm not offended, even though I really liked all three. ("My Summer of You" is admittedly slow and not the greatest story/writing, but I loved the lead actors, especially Oku Tomoya.)

For those of you interested in the companies that produce BLs, here’s a breakdown of all the companies under GMMGrammy, including Change, One31, and now WabiSabi. The big deal is that WabiSabi is now under GMMTV, so it will make content for them.

GMM aquires 51% stake in WabiSabi, making it a subsidiary

The recent WabiSabi deal doesn't surprise me at all, given the long relationship between GMMTV and New Siwaj (owner of the other 49%), who has directed quite a few of GMMTV's popular BLs over almost a decade now.

But I'm totally taken by surprise by the fact that Change2561 has been a sister company of GMMTV for years without me even knowing this. Supposedly they operate independently, but I assume there's some kind of grand plan.

This really surprised me too!

Same !

Match Point ep 8 : I'm really enjoying this ! Bay and Sun are so sweet. But the dads, the dads... Thankfully, the mothers are here too.

I'm glad Bay didn't give up on Sun, and organizing their prom on a rooftop so that Sun doesn't miss out was so sweet. I love that kid. And that group hug ! 😭

Sun's dad redeemed himself a bit in the last scene. I guess it will be Bay's dad's turn next week. Oh, and I noticed the matching earrings they're wearing.

I watched the first episode of Class Crush Crisis it looks promising, I like it, a lot of new faces, I'm not used to see so many girls 😆 beside in LoveSick. If I remember correctly it's the first high school BL from Change.

ETA : Today we have the last episode of Knot, honestly I'm trying to lower my expectations, I hope the episode is an hour long to give enough screentime to everyone.

It's more about me feeling self-conscious about dropping dramas so often, lol.

i'm still on ep 8, though i dont know what's wrong with the storytelling, or the acting, or both, but there are times it feels off. maybe it's because of the lack of background music? i don't know lol. but i was so looking forward to boat-oat from my stubborn that i'm just a bit saddened by this series lol

There are several things that bother me, especially the really long scenes and I feel like they filmed in too few different locations.

I haven’t finished Knot today but I can tell you it’s already my biggest disappointment of the year. I don’t know why it’s so bad because it has the same screenwriter and directors as My Stubborn. There are so many scenes, though, where I’ve thought the directing was awful. For example, most of the NC scenes are filmed from unappealing angles or are not paced well. The fight scenes two weeks ago were laughable, they made so little sense. There were long pauses where there should have been action and a lots of nonsensical decisions about fist-fight verses guns.

I can’t blame BoatOat because I know they are talented and have great chemistry. Clearly the rest of the production team just totally missed the mark in so many ways. I’ve still been interested enough to keep watching, but I have to pause a lot because it’s frustrating me. This could have been so much better.

We’ll see if I have any additional thoughts after the finale.

I think it's mine too my expectations were too high and the wait too long.

Knot : I'm disappointed. Some things felt off, and I honestly feel like there wasn't enough happening to make it a 12-episode show. It could have been done in 8 episodes with shorter scenes, and it probably would have been less boring. The scenes felt so long, and I often felt like nothing much was happening.

I also feel like we didn't see enough of the supporting characters, especially in the last episode. The episode was 1h14, and we almost had an entire hour of the main couple. It was pretty frustrating, especially because I was mainly watching for the other couples. Even though they didn't have a lot of scenes, they were a big part of why I stayed invested.

I also felt like some scenes in the last episode weren't put in the right order. To me, the first scenes would have made more sense at the end, and the episode would have felt more logical that way.

Every week, I watched the new episode hoping that the next one would be better than the previous one. Sadly, my expectations were almost never fulfilled. 😭

And I have to mention Naphitch and Sangnuea ! I really wanted at least a 10-minute scene, or multiple scenes, of them in the last episode, and especially a kiss. 😂 I would have been happy with a kiss, a hug, or even just them holding hands. So I'm both happy and mad because we got one 3-minute scene. It's better than nothing, but when I saw how long the episode was, I got my hopes up. 😭

Honestly, I can't rate it too badly because I did get invested, mainly because of the other couples. But overall, it was frustrating to watch every week and keep hoping things would improve.

7.5/10

I'm a bit frustrated, and I think the solution is to watch the new episode of Serizawa.

I feel like doing all sorts of things, but not packing my suitcase. 😂

ETA : I forgot to mention that probably the best thing about all of this is that I'm so excited to see Jame (Naphitch) and Folk (Sangnuea) in Love Scandal / Personal Manager as the main leads, and also Theme (Nakhin) and Thee (Ongsa) as supporting characters. Even though I don't even think they've started filming it yet. 😂

both endings of Knot and Love destiny werent good

the difference is love destiny in general is okay imo, i enjoyed the show i gave it an 8 (i feel like it deserves about 7.5 but im a bit fond of it)

Knot tho idk what to say, the only eps i honestly enjoyed is probably ep 1 to ep 3 or 4, then the quality keeps going down, the final ep wasnt good, why they didnt make a good use of the third couple i dont know
