I’m so late with everything ! I was hoping to catch up before the new episodes were released, but that won’t be possible.

But I’m having a lot of fun on my trip with my friend, even if we have a pretty strange rhythm 😆 Today, it was raining all day, but we still did a lot of things and got multiple free things ! We even created our own perfume based on a personal photograph 😁

I assume that means all the Wabi Sabi actors are under GMMTV now.

Since the bombshell announcement in April 2024 (that Wabi Sabi was exiting artist management and terminating almost all of its actors, with most of the big names going to GMMTV already back then), I think their artist management has been limited to a few (but not all) of the "FY" actors - so I don't think there's much left.

I have a lot of nostalgic attachment to Wabi Sabi, so fingers crossed the brand survives as it's inevitably subsumed into GMMTV. (Change2561 seems to be managed independently, so maybe there's hope.)

I'm enthusiastically watching the newly posted episodes 2 of "Crow Club" and "Oops, Mysterious Sounds". Double cutie-patootie fest!

I had an unexpected day off so I'm going to do my currently watching list (and recently finished).... strap in guys! 😆

Recently Finished

After Moving Seats: Yes! This was cute. It didn't blow me away, but for a high school drama it is worth the watch.

Kiss or Kill: I liked this for the main characters, there was some genuinely good moments but have to admit it really fizzled in the end. Also the AI was not well utilized.

Summertime: I absolutely loved this and was actually surprised people hated the ending because I really liked it. It might be that I've had dreams of things I've been scared to face but in my dream I overcame them and woken up emotionally stronger and ready to face those things. That's how I viewed the ending and how Yeo Eun Ho no longer felt afraid of his future or Cha Do Hyeon's love. I know someone mentioned that the director's image was different, but to me seeing it this way makes it perfect so 👌

The Proper Way to Write Love: This was okay. I wasn't overly impressed with this drama but I didn't hate it either.

Currently Watching

Ash: This has been a fun ride. Can't believe its over next week. I love their chemistry. And these actors take fan service to a new level. They kiss more in their lives than they do in the drama. 🫣 I will always love the police/gangster trope though.

Duty First, Kiss Later: This has been one of my favorite JBLs on the list all thanks to Watanabe Shu's acting really. He made this drama so fun to watch.

Flash Marriage to a Ghost: I'm behind on the verticals but have been loving this one. Very reminiscent of The Red Envelope is you're curious.

Gelboys S2: I have to say, this is probably one of the most perfect sequels I've ever seen. How the story is being told through the sons is just 🤌

Hold on, Harutora-kun: Not really feeling this one. Just probably not my cup of tea, but not horrible.

Just Friend: what's this one about again? 🤭

Love is Better S2: There are moments I like where I think it's going, but the preview makes me think otherwise. I really want Taniguchi to crush on Miyata okay! Unfortunately I think this drama is going to disappoint me.

Lovex3: So far this has not disappointed me at all. I look forward to this one each week.

Make It Right 2026: Just one more episode and I can forget I watched the whole thing. 😢

Match Point: These two guys are just killing me. Their lovey dovey-ness is just too much. And the emotional upheaval they each have with their dad's is just leaving me in a mess. Was not expecting this much emotion in my teen tennis drama.

Mr. Fanboy: The chemistry is chemistrying. I need them together right now. 😩

New Boyfriend: Don't waste your time. Sooo boring.

Nour: This drama took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I currently do and yet I'm excited for the next episode.

Oops! Mysterious Sounds: The plot continues to move in all the right directions for me! Why is it only 10 episodes! That might be the perfect length though.

Police in Love: I have a feeling there is going to be a point were I hate Thiar and I don't know what to do with that.

Popular Serizawa: I do like this one, but honestly Haruto's love being a love at first sight kind of drags it down for me. I hate LAFS trope. It's cheap, all I can think is well tomorrow you can see someone just as interesting to you and also fall in love with them. That's just a personal preference though.

Sleep Therapist: Good sleep = love. The end.

The Crow Club: I totally loved episode 2 wayyyyy more than 1. Now I'm seated for this! Bring it!

The Last Oath: Must be a prerequisite that you have to watch the last 5 minutes of episode 12 before you start any new episode because everytime I hit play that's where I end up. 🤔🤭 Honestly, this also surprised me with how interesting the plot has developed here. Now I'm achingly aware we are getting only 2 episodes a week here on out. 😭

The Missing Piece: Waiting to see what is hiding in his memories.

Till I See You: On the fence waiting to see which way it will tip me.

Unlucky Bae: This one has been a complicated drama for me because some of the plot I'm going 'wtf, why' and at other points I'm nodding along. I'll wait until it's done for a final say but this will probably be a solid 7 or 7.5 at most.

Weirdo 101: I was suppose to hate this one. Like really, it had all the tall tale signs that this was not to my liking. So why do I love this drama sooo much! 😖 I blame SeaKeen because what a duo. Stop toying with my emotions like this!

You Maniac: So far I like this way more than I originally thought I would going into it.

Your Sky: Still think the shorter format of this plot works wonders and have overall liked it more than the original. I also loved the cameos of ThomasKong too.

Your Third: I don't think this drama is good, but I also can't hate it. MatNat continue to surprise me with how charismatic their pairing is.

Dropped or On Hold

Love Penalty: Seems to be behind a paywall after episode 2 and not interested enough currently to purchase. Will wait until Gaga or someone else picks it up.

If They Find Out, It's Over: Same thing as above. Behind a pay wall and just don't feel like it's worth it at the moment.
