Yet another very promising Japanese BL "Perfect Propose" is set to release on 2 February - although sadly I don't see anything about an international release. I hate to resort to unofficial sources (Bilibili) unless it's absolutely necessary ... but this may indeed qualify as "absolutely necessary".

Yes, I'm with you!

despite having an exam in two days, I just binged the sign (till it aired) today and god-

*speechless* <333 (0///0)

Generally what are your favorite things about this drama? I'm waiting until it's finished to binge, but I'm curious what others think. It looks like a different than usual BL.

 mj_babec358:

Yall what do we think about the first episode of "Sukiyanen Kedo Do Yaro ka"??

Cuz idk about you guys, but I loved the first episode sm!! It's so cute, and I love this type of dynamic between couples<33 I also definitely didn't expect a confession so early lol

I'm really looking forward to watching this one, but I'm gonna wait to binge watch. I do much better at binge watching than week-by-week.  Enjoy!! Also - love your intro image of SKZ!!

 mj_babec358:
Can I ask why? Cuz I'm really enjoying myself watching it

I just don't really like the couples. I don't like Charlie. I like Babe, but they made him dumb (not that I read the book or anything tbh, maybe he's also dumb there). I don't like Jeff that much, but I like Alan. I liked Way and wanted him to be with Pete, but now...maybe I just thought this series will be better (even though I didn't know too much about it beforehand). Also, all this part with Babe losing his senses to Charlie, I don't like it either.

Unrelated , I feel like I'm between the few people who don't enjoy Cooking Crush that much. I don't get the hype over this series.

For me it is more of a comedic relief to start the week after the heavy series such as The Sign and PitBabe. Really and truely I think OffGun excelled in Not Me and I think they need to start exploring more similar story lines that are more in the action and danger realm or more emotionally intense stories such as Theory of Love because that is where they seem to excel. I really want them in some  psychological or mafia theme series, and obviously their acting skills are up to the task but this seems unlikely anytime soon since their next series The Trainee, I believe, seems to be another cute and fluffy series.

Yes, I think that's what they wanted (doing some comedy). I just don't find it to be very funny or interesting. It's not like I'm saying it's a bad series, it's fine. Not Me was better imo and I also enjoyed more Theory of Love.

Yup these are top tier.

P.S I am yet to start any of the small number episodes series I asked about in here. As Monday morning came, bright and early my Law teacher decided to kill me with work then to make matters worse my Literatures in English teacher decided to demand his IA and now I have to write a review on the movie Their Eyes Were Watching God (I recommend this book; I preferred the book to the movie, best experience to read while listening to the audio book on Youtube)

P.S Has anyone seen the movie After Sundown staring ZeeNew and what are your thoughts; I am yet to watch it.

Never heard of it and got all excited until I saw the "horror" tag. I don't do horror, not even for Zee/Nunew, unless the tag is exaggerated. If anyone reports back to the contrary then I'll give it a go.

Totally agree!! They would be awesome in a mafia drama. I really like the bodyguard plots too. I can see Off as the bodyguard to Gunn.  *sigh*

I started Pit Babe when it came out but couldn't get past the first ep. I may have judged too quickly but maybe I wasn't in the mood for something that seemed dark and gritty. There's different kinds of darkness and grittiness that I can't explain with words. It's all in the feelings at the time.
