I like seeing people’s favorite BL lists because I can jott down stuff I haven’t yet seen yet (or finished).

I think I need to bump up SOTUS, Triage, and Manner of Death on my to watch list.

I love both your lists and have watched pretty much on both lists except for a few. Tempted to jump in the bandwagon and make my list but Ive watched so many that it’s hard for me to choose from 😂

This is the first time I've seen anyone include "Like in the Movies" (Philippines, 2020) and "Seven Days: Monday - Thursday" (Japan, 2015) in their list of favourite BLs. They don't seem to get much notice - at least not in the places I've seen.

Agreed! Also, I'm not sure if it is just my generation but so few of these characters seem able to hold their liquor either. Then again, I started drinking three months before I was born. *LOL*

Yes, many of the characters look like they are alcoholics. When they are sad - they drink until they pass out, when they celebrate - they drink until they can't control themselves. Personally, I don't like all this drinking in series.

Same here, they aren't mentioned often.  There's something about many Japanese BL's that I find charming, unlike their regular drama series, which can be very silly and OTT.  I'm glad the BL's don't fall into that category! 

I would love to see more Filipino BL's.

I’ve heard many good things about Not Me but I’m not a big fan of OffGun hence honestly, that’s putting me off despite there being First, Mond and other great actors in the show. Perhaps it’s because I can’t get over Off’s portrayal of Khai’s character in Theory of Love. I’m not saying he’s a bad actor. In fact, I think he’s a great actor but somehow, I don’t connect with him like other actors.

On another note, I see you also watch Chinese dramas. Have you seen Love is Sweet? If you haven’t, give it a go though the second ML and FL is a love or don’t like them characters.

There are some really good ones, but it really is a mixed bag when it comes to BL.
