Wait should I be afraid to watch then.

I guess I missed something, why should you be afraid to watch it? anyhow - I don't think so, unless you find overdramatic and bad acting to be scary, as this is most of what I remember about this movie.

 Elisheva:
So screw abused women and everyone who will find themselves in an abusive relationship then. Cute boys kissed and that makes it all better.

Well that is a cynical way to look at it, however that is not view I intended to bring forth. What I was really getting at was that depending on the person and their triggers one will view a piece of content and find interpretations that someone who does not have the same triggers won't find. Not that said interpretations are not present but the meaning and depth one places on them will differ; for example lets say there is a character who is a rape victim, an ordinary viewer will understand the context of that and rightfully condemn it and sympathise with that character, however if the viewer is a rape victim or has a family member or friend who has been raped they will not just understand they will know the context and the feelings; so they will empathise with the character. Therefore different actions on screen that the ordinary viewer will not place as much meaning on the viewer with a deeper experience of the issues on screen will interpret the same actions on screen on a deeper level because they know the situation personally.  It is not a matter of "Cute boys kissed and that makes it all better", no it is the fact that in agreement with you the situation was abusive and wrong and yes Khai was terrible towards women, was there time to properly explore these themes and issues while sticking to the intention of a BL and its elements, no.  The direction you are positing would go beyond the ordinary BL themes that are confined in the customary 12 episode time frame. Now could writing have been altered to diminish these issues perhaps. We also cannot look at Third as fragile in the end because his character was allowed to release the pent up emotions and find strength and growth in his own individuality away from Khai which triggered Khai's own growth.

All in all to say I don't think the series glossed over the issues I believe given the time and resources they had the presented a satisfactory resolution while still keeping the "Sacred rules of BL", but you are entitled to your view and I respect it as I am the one who asked for it, still glad I did because the issues you brought weren't caught by me then but I definitely see them now however we will agree to disagree on the resolution of the series.

tbh I don't know what could XD

I shall try to lighten the mood in this forum by posting a fluffy cute picture from "Love For Love's Sake" (Gaga, four of eight episodes so far, final four this week). It's been a while since I've watched a nice KBL, so this series was overdue.

This looks like it'll be a fun watch. Is it?

Side note: I took a glance at the cast and did a double take when I saw Cha Woong Ki. For a minute he looked just like Han Jisung, one of my biases in Stray Kids!

It's a domestic violence and psychological abuse survivor's way to look at it. I'm speaking from experience, however much you want to disagree with it.

This was a mistake. I'm out of here.

(re "Love For Love's Sake")  Yes, so far it's really good. I definitely recommend it.

I am happy that you have survived your situation; that is truly a blessing and I won't pretend that know your experiences because I don't. I am sorry if the way in which I articulated my views offended you, that was not my intention. I am sorry you felt that way.

Hey, does anyone know when The Next Prince will be coming out? It says 2024 but dunno when exactly

Also a question - Does anyone know what is going to replace Last Twilight on Friday?

Dunno. In terms of the GMMTV line-up, I think it's still too early for "My Love Mix-Up!" which is  the one I'm most looking forward to (Gemini & Fourth, I love you both!).

But the new series supposedly starting this Friday which I'm really excited about is "Perfect Propose" ...

I'm also waiting for My Love Mix-Up! as another person who loves Gemini and Fourth. the GMMTV show I most looking forward to is My Golden Blood

So there is a chance no new BL is gonna start this Friday?

This JP BL sure looks nice.I always wait those short ones to end and then binge them. At least seems like I won't have to wait much for this one to end.

Question, has anyone ever heard of the BL OH MY 4; I found it through a YouTube edit. I can't find info on it on here but I did via this website: https://thetvdb.com/series/oh-my-4

Apparently it is a Laotian series and all 10 episodes are on YouTube, which I did find with English subs. How well the subs are, well I have not watched it yet so I am not sure of that.

Anyways I just thought I would share.

Oh this is one of the series I won't be binge watching; I will be watching as the first episode drops. I am super excited for this. :)
