I'm aware that Thailand is a popular vacay spot for Asian gay couples because of the freedom they have to relax and be a couple openly. While I was there I was introduced to two couples, gay & lesbian, who live together openly. They are next door neighbors to a Thai friend in Bangkok, and have a supportive and friendly community where they live and work.

I have watched What zabb man but I preferred it to 609 bedtime story. Aoki Vuanpaia no Nayami I have never heard of so that is going on my list for a rainy day. Minato shouji coin laundry I have read the reviews watched through clips and waited to see if season 2 would be more appealing to me which it was not and finally removed it from my watch list. Kare ga Boku ni koishita Wake is on my watch list who knows when I will ever watch that. La Pluei used to be on my must watch list in my mind but given the reviews regarding the ending I have been apprehensive to watch. However let me tell you something to this day 609 Bedtime story is the only BL that has made me down right curse nay cuss in a public comment section I could not even use English I had to express myself in patois. I would rather re-watch Skinship and that is saying a lot.

I also love IFYLITA gave it a 10 so of course there was that one particular scene that pushed it over the 9.5 threshold. I loved the pace I think it suited the story being told. I have this thing where once there is a established or almost relationship at half way through the series I will love it so that made me love it even more, so I did not find it slow.

Since I'm about halfway I'm not sure if I'm qualified, but it's a simple plot of boy has secret crush for 2 years and now has the opportunity to cook for the crush, because the crush is a very picky eater. Anyway, by EP 7 they are dating. By the looks of it, there will be some nasty treatment by a girl who wants the picky eater for her boyfriend. She planning to take the cook down.
It seems to be a first time drama for some of the cast and the plot is very basic, nothing really new. I do like the cast though, but it took a while to warm up to the MLs. The group of friends are fun and cute, including the girl. Kitty is a handsome girly gay character without being too ott. The MDL rating is fair for this production, imo.

There’s a bit more NC in episode 10 and a very beautiful touching one in episode 12.
The ending is happy-ish is all I will say.

What Zaab Man is definitely better than 609 Bedtime Story. I gave both a 7 but I enjoyed the former much more.
La Pluie started off well but in the middle, it started going down and the ending was ok, nothing fantastic. I enjoyed the chemistry and the acting. The cinematography was also good but I think because of the hype from the trailer, people’s expectations were higher. I didn’t drop the show mainly because of the actors, Pee, Title and Suar. I think they are all good actors but scriptwriting in my opinion let the story down. I haven’t read the novel so can’t compare the two.
As for Minato, I saw the first season but not the second. First season was sweet and cute but the one of the ML characters became annoying for me after a while. It was his indecisiveness and fear that got to me. I understand why he was fearful but they dragged it out. So I don’t think you missed much by not watching it (though some may disagree).

That’s pretty much the summary :) Yes, Kitty’s character is a breath of fresh air for me.
