Quantcast

It's pretty quiet around here today. I hope everyone will enjoy their weekend. It's been like summer in my part of the world, along with snow piles that haven't melted yet. Still more snow to come too. It comes with living at a higher than average elevation very close to 14,000 ft. mountains, lol

So last year I tried watching Wedding Plan and dropped it after the first episode. It wasn't working for me at the time. Of course, one episode isn't really enough to judge, but there it is. I decided to try again cuz the Love In The Air couples are guests in this series (EP 1 & 3). I'm so glad I did since this time around I enjoyed the whole series very much.

I was touched when Lom talked about his young self and his childhood friend crying together about their differences and identity crisis. And again, when Nuea asked Lom to let him support Lom with his secrets and Lom cried on his shoulder. I love their relationship from beginning to end.

Also, even though Nuea is playing the cute one, he's far from the baby boy type. He's got a mouth on him that cracked me up often. And he's smart.  I'd love to see more of this type of BL role. Sassy & smart is always a winning combo!

I highly recommend if you need a cute, fun and light drama.

(re "Wedding Plan") Ditto. The series starts a bit flimsy with lots of silly Thai comedy but gets much better as the love story develops (from Episode 3). Good (and very cute) protagonists!

I just watched today's episode of Unknown the series and it was heartbreaking and left me with a lot of theories. Definitely looking forward to the next episode. Oh and S.Pang is an asshole.

 American Fan:
Haha, keep watching. Don't you think most ex's in Asian dramas show up like a bad penny and always at the wrong time?

Sometimes I wonder if there are any boundaries in Asian dramas. How often is someone's personal property invaded, like their phone or laptop grabbed and gone through. Or like a gift that's taken right out of hand and torn open by someone other than the receiver?  I could go on and on...No one, NO ONE would do this in the US. They would do it secretly. HaHaHa.

lmao that's so true tho

And yes, I did mean the kiss on the beach, and realised that it was a drunk kiss when I watched ep 3 haha

But I feel like this drama's gonna be a very slow burn lol

 RiqueXinw:

I just watched it and OH MY GOSH that is what I call some classic tongue-fu

I am trying so bad to react like a civilised individual.

I am hooked. I can't wait for the next episode.

Ikrrr I couldn't stop squealing and punching my leg lmao

 babi:

same here, I'm loving it so much! that chemistry is on fire 🔥 I was so shocked by the bed scene, I never thought it was going to scale that much so quickly, not complain tho!

I'm also interested in the second couple wondering if there's gonna be a love triangle or a polyamorous relationship

I wonder what will happen next.

Ikrr the bed scene was so sudden, I had to pause for a sec to collect myself lmao

Ooh poly? That'd be interesting...

 SeoInGukSaranghae:

As @American Fan said, it's Jae Won's drunk habit to kiss people BUT you'll see later on that Ji-Hyun doesn't think that their kiss could be considered as a stupid mistake

Aboout Eun-Ji: She did a perfect job at being the most annoying, rude and going-out-of-her-way-to-be-rude ex-girlfriend ever. I don't like her one bit.

Yeah haha same

Ooh yeah I watched Wedding Plan as it was airing and only because of the LITA couples, and honestly, other than the GL side couple, I actually enjoyed the drama too (didn't really like the special ep tho)

There was a special episode; mind spoiling it for me?

Updates:

Now my excitement for Wandee Goodday is dying a little considering the production house's previous work. I am not even going to be subtle about it, I am looking right at 609 Bedtime Story when I say this production house has made absolute rubbish before; a complete waste of resources.

Please make these series worthwhile.

First of all, there's the question of where to watch it. I watched "Wedding Plan" on iQiyi (which is the "uncut" version - I try to avoid watching "cut" versions of anything). "Wedding Plan Special Episode" is a money-grab on Vimeo, and although I'm happy to pay for my legal subscriptions, I found this obnoxious after I'd already paid to watch the series, so I cheated (= Bilibili). Anyways, it's the sweet and fluffy happy-ever-after ending (in the form of a traditional Thai wedding). If you like the series, you'll almost certainly like the special episode.

Yeah it’s basically what @p43425 said

It’s pretty cute

I mean, I’m pretty neutral about the actual drama and also the special ep

I think if I ever rewatched it I would enjoy it more than when I watched it while it was airing

RE: Wedding Plan Special - I'll check it out. It makes sense that they show a wedding afterwards.

I’M SOOO ADDICTED TO THE OST FOR HISTORY 3: TRAPPED

LIKE WTH, WHY IS IT SO GOOD TT

I see. I was not aware of it because I did not like the series very much so I stopped paying attention after the finale aired. I honestly can't say I will watch but I am a curious person so thanks for the info. much appreciated.
