A Thousand Years Of Love was bad? Figures. I tried watching that but put it on hold and it has been on hold for a while. It was just really slow.

Haha you'd have to force me to watch both dramas again :p I saw JGS prior to You're Beautiful in a couple movies (Baby & Me, Do-re-me-fa-so-la-ti-do) and didn't recognize him with the guy-liner at first haha. And yeah I agree - it was a cute drama but it's definitely not the best drama out there that I've seen. And there are a lot of cliches and things in that drama. I watched it because I wanted to see the big deal about it but I just found another ordinary drama with it....

I hadn't heard of it until my sister recommended it to me. That was like a year and a half ago and my tastes have changed and I have gotten to know a lot of the cliches and things that annoy the crap out of me so I stay away from that now so I wont waste my time.

Ohh I see haha. I watched it this past summer because so many people were talking about it. I think my tastes change a little bit with each drama I watch, like you mentioned - after a while you notice all the cliches and it's not as appealing as it might have been if you had watched it when you were new to dramas

AThat;s why when I see something rated 1 I am going to watch it just to see how bad can it be lol. But I don;t think I'd go and watch Ghastly movie, it seems ridiculously gory, much like Yakuza Wepaon lol

lol he there seriously something that is rated 1 , I mean those writers still need skill to fail everything like that.

I haven't seen Playful Kiss and don't plan on it because I loved It Started With A Kiss, haha. And I agree for the most part about Jdramas, there's not too many I don't like - and they're faster to go through, short and to the point without too much of a drag. I love Korean dramas but they do have periods when they start to drag in a lot of cases.

I never read the manga but I watched Hana Yori Dango and I loved it. In HYD she plays the piano horribly. :) It seem that HYD is closer to the manga than BOF is but that's not surprising. HYD also makes much more sense than BOF did. Some of the thing that the characters do seem more plausible in HYD than in BOF. In BOF, lots of the things they do are just plane stupid. Also, for the longest time I had no idea why Geum Jan Di and Goo Joon Pyo were together. There was no chemistry and I really thought that they hated each other but were just together for some reason I didn't understand.
I love picking apart this drama. :)

The length and the get to the point strategy from Jdramas is really refreshing, there are less want to kill this person moment, and the parents in Jdramas seems to be way less evil than in TWdramas or kings or queens of all evil Kdramas. Playfull Kiss is not really bad it's just did not get the chance to develop itself the way ISWAK did.
