I have a reclist on Tumblr I can link.. But also, what do you like? Like tropes and genres? Especially because there's  more GL now than ever, it's easier to rec according to taste.

But the MDL list I attached to it has atleast 70% of all GLs listed on MDL along with sources so it might also be helpful.

I'd be interested in seeing this link too faintest of hope that there is something on there that I've not watched yet (though I don't believe there is much left unwatched by me 😂)

oh probably not lmao because I made that back in September after my first round of watching a bunch of gl so I was really going off of things that other people have likely watched. Now, I've watched more lol. I really need to update it but it there's always more and more gl coming out now so it's hard. I think i'll wait until girl rules airs.

She’s reportedly played as sapphic in 2 dramas actually: Sampat Ruttikan and Duen Pradab Dao. Though neither have eng subs as far as im aware

For our new or more recently active members, every year in May, we look over the results of the club's ongoing voting lists. And, that time has come!

Remember, throughout the year, please do feel free to add/vote new titles and re-rank the ones you've already voted on before.

Favorite Sapphic Main Couple (Drama Edition):

Look at GAP! In solid first place for the 3rd year in a row! The first full-length Thai GL drama is holding on to that crown strong!! 

Our second and third places are also the same as last year (and were also in the top 3, though switched around) our first year too. So a big congratulations to Tsukutabe/She Loves to Cook, She Loves to Eat  that obviously gained several new fans in order to widen the lead between them and Couple of Mirrors.

Favorite Sapphic Main Couple (Movie Edition)

The Handmaiden,  for the 3rd year in a row, still has the lead! But, interestingly, while the number of voters  that chose it remain the same (32), the point ranking as went down  36 points. Looks like someone(s) has found some new favorites! (Honestly love to see it).

By the way, do not hesitate to go comment over on Alex's discussion post, as this film was our most recent coordinated watch! 

Thailand's first full-length GL film Yes or No gained 4 new voters and 408 points in order to secure second place (it was in 3rd place last year)! I wonder how much of that new following was because of their cameo in Secret of Us? Questions, questions....

General Can I Sleep with You?, a Chinese microfilm, has obviously stolen hearts because it is in the top 3 for the second year in a row and is a solid 102 points ahead of 4th place (Love My Life). However, the number of points and voters have went down... will it manage to hold on for another year?

Please do vote on our next coordinated movie watch - either elect your favorites that deserve more attention, or vote for the films you'd love to finally get around to watching!

Favorite Sapphic Main Character

The Handmaiden's main characters of Lady Hideko and/or Nam Suk Hui  maintain their lead for the third year in a row with ever-increasing number of voters and points. 

She Makes My Heart Flutter's aunt-niece duo of Jung One and/or Gang Seol maintain their own second-place standing for the second year in a row. GAP's Mon and Sam also hold fast to their third place ranking for the second year in a row. Though it is of note that these 2 titles are in the top three for the third year in a row (swapping places last year).

Favorite Sapphic Supporting Couple

These couples and their rankings are actually the same for the third year in a row! Will anyone be able to knock them down? I don't know, because the number of voters and points just seems to steadily increase! 

Bad Buddy's Ink and Pa has 5 more voters and 498 more points than last year. As these two actresses just keep getting secured for more and more projects together, is it really a surprise that more people are going back to discover where their ship got their start?

Nevertheless's Sol and Jiwon has 5 more voters and 497 more points. Now, is this continued interest because of our Korean GL starvation, or is it because this drama got a remake in December?

GAP's Cher and Risa (which, despite the changed names, are the same characters that make up the main couple of Mate btw) and/or Yuki and Tee (one of our few solidly masc-femme couples atm, may we forever mourn their cut storyline)  have 5 more voters and 498 more points.

Now, are these 5 new voters on each of these the same 5 new voters? Did they have opposite allocation of their points? I'm so curious as to how these consistent numbers came to be...

Favorite Sapphic Supporting Character

These results also remain the same from last year:

In first place is Bad Buddy's Pa and/or Ink. They have 1 more voter and 98 more points.

In second place is Semantic Error's Yu Na. She has the same amount of voters as last year, but has lost a point. Someone rearranged their list... and my girl took a hit T_T.  For shame, for shame (*teasing*)

Nevertheless's Sol and/or Jiwon secured 2 more voters and 200 more points to their cause, but are still currently in third place.
