I grew up with a nonconformist spirit in a household that didn't allow personal opinions or 'negative emotions'. For that reason I abhor bullying of any sort. There are a few things I absolutely will not compromise on, and among those is our basic freedom to speak our thoughts, including for those who hold a different opinion on subjects, and I abhor anything that has to do with sexual assault or pedophilia, whether against females OR males. If you like to suppress others' opinions bc they differ from yours, or you watch dramas or movies which glorifies sexual assault or pedophilia and you justify the behaviors bc "it's a drama" then I have no room in my heart for you. And yes, I have read comments across MDL that justify such behaviors. 

Jumping into the ' herd mentality' is the direct opposite of freedom of speech, with the final result being complete suppression of individuality.  We are not clones. Everyone has the right to speak their thoughts, UNLESS  it harms others physically. Emotionally, as adults we should be able to brush harsh remarks off. 

I'm retired with a wanderlust spirit that confines me to my home, unlike in the past.  Such as it is, I spend most of my time online on one social media site or another, reading the local, state, national, and International news. I'm a weather freak. It affects everyone's daily lives.

 I solely trust in God, Jesus, & Holy Spirit. I have nothing if not for Him. The 'Christian' moniker doesn't apply to me bc I see Christians as religious and I don't folllow any man made rules. I FOLLOW JESUS. The Way is the only Way. 

Live & Learn. The 1st time you didn't know any better, the 2nd time you did. There is NO 3rd time. 

Use it up, Wear it out, Make do, or Do without (I follow my Beloved maternal grandmother's advice)

I love others' stories. People are really amazing in their unique appearance, experience/s, wishes, hopes, and dreams, AND thoughts. It's a blessing to have varied friends from whom I can learn. It makes me happy to connect with folks across the world and receive (virtual) hugs since I don't have the opportunity IRL (in real life). I'm a HUGE hugger.

I've been watching Asian dramas since 2014 (a few in 2000 on VHS & DVD from the local library, so why I waited until '14 to go all in is 🤷🏼‍♀️and was pointed to MDL in 2022.  It was the best recommendation one could receive.

I rate based on the writing (the story & plot)s, direction, cinematography, editing, the casting (in some dramas they feel incompatible), music, etc. I do NOT rate based on a love for any particular actor or actress who is cast in a drama.. I see characters only. My rating is a Me thing and does not denigrate your ratings. We bring our life experiences along when viewing, and I'm positive you haven't lived my life nor I yours.

1-2-3 TERRIBLE  to BAD shouldn't have been a thought in the creator or writer's head, much less put on paper, or it was SO badly done. Rating depends on the cast's acting 

4 LACKING flaws in abundance, overwhelming any of the good, and can't be overlooked

5 OKAY if you have the time to waste and nothing else to watch. Major flaws, not as many as #4

6 GOOD but not good enough. Flaws, not so many as #4 & #5. Easily forgotten. 

7 REALLY GOOD still has flaws, not so many they're glaring, easily forgiven. 

8 GREAT  almost unnoticable flaws. Seasoned viewers will notice them, others won't

9 ALMOST PERFECT a rare flaw here & there,  not so big as to change anything,  and could've been a 10 if fixed during production or editing

10 PERFECT  there were NO flaws in ANY area of the show, the RARE MASTERPIECE

There are works I've seen prior to finding out about their deeds, however, with knowledge they're blacklisted.  If you DO support them, then by all means, just go away😠
