Alex:

Does anyone know if I'm Your Moon is going to eventually release on their youtube channel or if it will be just strictly iQiyi release?

I dont know. Theres a wide variety of hearsay going on about it. I havent found an official statement yet.

The new episode posters do not show YouTube anymore, so my conclusion is, probably not. At least not while airing anyway

Episode 1, yes. But it doesnt look like the rest of the series will. They managed to score an iqiyi streaming agreement after episode 1

I still have a couple more countries to do a full recap on, but here are some quick recent ones!

GL Drama Recap!

Found the MDL page for the Korean lesbian dating show: https://kisskh.at/780270-neoui-yeonae

DouQi and some other translators are working on a fan translation of Soul Sisters - though they do not know when these will become available. I, however, know that the quality and translator's notes are going to be absolute fire.

Faye's production company, Fabel Entertainment, is LIVE

BeOnCloud's action GL, Let's Kick This Love has been cancelled.

Denied Love has entered workshops.

BFriend and Queendom have started filming.

The creators of Deep Night, Deep Love, and Lover Merman have announced a casting call for GL Dream Mind.

Do yall see the images on these recap posts?

yep :)

One big image at the bottom with a bunch of posters arranged on a picture of purple flowers and green leaves.

 Alex:
Do you think it's just a translation error or are we getting a they/them lesbian? 👀

Welp, the answer was no.

She used only 'ka'' (feminine politeness particle), 'rao' (fairly neutral word for 'I' or 'we') and 'nu' ('I' that indicates the user is small/young, the pronoun leans feminine). Zero indications of gender-nonconformity.

 AthenaTheStorierX:
we also do see Silvy play a nonbinary sapphic in Warp Effect, but i dont have the fluency to be able to dissect their pronoun usage nor have i came across any posts that do so.

I think I might have the fluency to dissect pronoun usage? I don't formally speak Thai but in this clip I understand the full story and 80-90 percent of the words said, no subs:

Picking out pronouns isn't hard for me anymore. Both of them use 'rao' to refer to themselves and 'ter' (indicates being near and dear) to refer to the other. These characters are close so they're not using politeness particles. None of it is gendered. Thai people use different pronouns in different social contexts, so this one clip doesn't really tell us that much.

This show sounds really fun and I wish I could watch it, but I have some triggers that mean I probably have to stay away from this one. Trying to search 'Warp Effect Silvy' or 'Warp Effect Molly' isn't narrowing things down, other than this one clip. Molly seems to be a side character with not much screentime. If someone else could find me more clips, I'd be happy to try. I am really interested in Thai enby pronoun usage.

Ill see about getting some recordings for you ;)

Fabulous recommendations

Pearl Next Door (on YouTube) is another good rec if you want something a bit more camp (i think thats the word)

Lei & Mar is excellent. No male gaze because the director is a lesbian and the main actor is her partner.

Fragrance of First Flower webtoon is here!

Chapter 1 is free on Mojoin - https://mojoin.com/comics/220/001

This isn't GL related, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. I've just finished watching Remembrance of Things Past and I absolutely loved it. It is a female centric, modern drama about three best friends navigating life and relationships in Beijing. It was the best acted Chinese drama I've ever watched, with some truly remarkable scenes. It is on YouTube, but the sound sucks because the background music has all been digitally removed. So I subscribed to Mango TV for a month to watch it, which cost me just over $2. Check the tags if you're considering watching it as it has one subplot that may trigger some people.
