I just binged a home-grown lesbian show and it was excellent :)
Anne+, Netherlands, two seasons (2018, 2020), about 260 minutes altogether. And a movie (2021) as a sequel.
It's about a young lesbian navigating life and a string of girlfriends in Amsterdam. The blunt and casual way everyone talks about queerness is so accurate to what Dutch people are like lol.
Given recent discussion here I thought I'd mention that it's got a transmasc nonbinary side character. And in the movie a main love interest is a nonbinary drag king. Both are excellent. It's also got polyamory, so that's fun.
It's not going to traumatize you with extreme homophobia or suicide or whatever. But it does follow European standards for nudity on screen, just a heads up.
Can be watched here (illegally, make sure to use adblock, I recommend ublock origin on firefox).
