I have a question, and it contains a SPOILER for the drama "Reverse With Me".

I've just watched episode 7 of "Reverse With Me". Who was the woman (in episode 7) who appeared and saved Kliaokhluen by making the gun that Fiat was holding dematerialize? How did she know Kliaokhluen's life was in danger and why does she also have time reversal abilities?

I haven't read the novel, so did I just miss something in the drama, or does the drama assume viewers have read the novel?

 

That's Maitree, Karan's baby sister. She possesses the power of time freeze. In the book, Karan doesn't talk much about Khliao with her sister, but she told Maitree about saving Khliao 8 years ago. Maitree was furious with Karan when she found out that she had given up 10 years of her life span to save Khliao, and Maitree didn't like Khliao at first for that reason. In the book, the sisters are very close. 

So here's what happened in the book that led to what we see in Ep7. Karan was in a hospital after she got stabbed, and Maitree visited her. And later, Karan ran away from the ward and Maitree, knowing her sister so well, knew in her gut that Karan was up to something. And Maitree, being a lawyer with a time-freeze power, always has a way to find something out. That explained how she knew where Karan was, which was not included in the series. Maitree rushed in and froze time right when the villain pulled the trigger and seized the gun, saving Khliao's life. Her interference altered someone’s fate, costing her 10 years of her own. It was shown that she was struggling to breathe inside the car, much like what Karan went through in the earlier episode.

I'd say Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko but don't quote me on that, I just like this series very much to the point I will rewatch it someday. I liked other GLs as well, but this one has a special place in my heart.
