thanks for the suggestions. I’ve added everything to my butch women list just to keep a record. We’ll see what I can find and what I end up watching.

As far as western stuff, my wife and I watched the first two seasons of gentlemen Jack, but the story took a turn so we stopped. But I’m a Cheerleader is one of my all time favorite movies.

in 2000 HBO made a 3-part series called If These Walls Could Talk 2. The second part features Chloe Sevigny as a butch in the 1960s opposite Michelle Williams. I was obsessed with it for years because it was the only butch I had ever seen on screen. (I know there’s Bound from 1996 but Gina Gershon was never believable to me as a butch. I still liked it but wasn’t so into her.)

I hope some of these new GLs with butch women end up getting made. There certainly are a lot more GLs coming out now but a lot still seem to follow the Thai high femme couple format. I’ll watch it but I do end up often getting bored.

Sadly no, it isn't. I know that maybe I shouldn't have posted here, but I couldn't help but tell everyone I found a hottie haha. From now on I'll only add GL series/movies, sorry about this.

It's not a problem posting about a non-GL drama if you genuinely think some people here might be interested. Simply start your post with something like, "this isn't a GL movie, but ... "

Mint and Silvy are a great butch/femme side couple in My Marvelous Dream is You. Also a couple in real life.

Does mass with long hair count? If so, Kasuga in She loves to cook, she loves to eat would work.
