TBH i don't know exactly what's First Time Watcher. I got it when MDL rolled out the identity badge tool, probably in 2023 or earlier. I assume everyone will get a FTW badge someday.

I also don't know the parameters used, or the number amount of activities I had to participate before i got my 4 other badges.

What purpose does it serve? No idea either. In fact, I didn't know I've gotten 5 badges until now. Cos it's not visible to me until i launch my own badge page before i respond to your query.

This Feed post HERE kind of explains which badges are available and how to trigger them. For example, you can instantly get the "Freshie Game Player" or "Freshie Game Maker" badge by playing an MDL Game or making one.
