I am still catching up! Watched this last night and it was pretty good. ML was very patient. It took the FL almost the whole drama to come around. Who could not want to jump Yao Guan Yu? LOL

Hu Jia Hao and Wu Yi Fei

FL being told by the system that she's not the real child of her parents so to prevent being dead in the future because of misconduct + malnutrition + leukimia the system told her to have a child with ML before ML and her parents found out this 'switched at birth' thing. So she bought ML's service with money while bit by bit feeling guilty and pity then love towards ML who treated her very kindly. But the three months deadline was coming up so she must plan her baby and her future escape.

A cute drama with green flag ML who's both smart and generous and won't ever be exist in real life.

I want to stop watching vertical dramas for awhile to catch up with long drama but I'm in too deep and I can't get out that easily.

LOL, that is exactly how I feel. But I do want to start another long drama for some episodes on the weekends. No new ones are catching my eye so I am thinking of starting an already released one that has great reviews. I am debating between Love In The Clouds and Fangs Of Fortune. Hou Ming Hao has caught my eye so I want to watch one of his dramas.

Why don't you watch airing drama Key of the Phoenix Heart? It's quite popular and seems like the story is pretty good but there's real life age gap and someone said it feels like a bit low budget/low quality on several scenes. Not watching it. I also did not watching Love in the Clouds but heard that the story was good and the chemistry was great and everyone seemed to be good-looking, but the conflicts were repetitive. I completed Fangs of Fortune but it had Guo Jing Ming's sense of art so it had dark setting, visually beautiful characters with thick make up that cracked, with the actors talking slow theatrically. + it has bad ending. The dialogue were smart and comedic and the chemistry was great, there's anthology feeling as each heroes and villains have their own arcs and background story.

My favorite drama of Hou Ming Hao were I Am Nobody and I Am Nobody S2 but on S2 his screentime was limited. But it's modern drama about people with supernatural powers.

That new Hu Jia Hao one… I saw another of the exact same storyline a few weeks ago except I didn’t recognize the leads.

lol this one is a goat story. Unusual, chaotic, and the twist actually caught me off guard. I only found it funny in the end. Even though it’s vertical and the actors are totally second‑rate, the plot hits that what‑the‑hell energy.

ML is a young guy who, to save his sister, has to accept a ghost marriage with a drowned girl. He gets a ritual recipe from his taoist uncle and goes through all the rites. Instead of a peaceful spirit, the bride turns into a seductive ghost, and suddenly he’s fighting for his life instead of saving anyone.

btw I wouldnt count it as horror, got no that scary energy.

A Chen Rui Feng drama - borders on cartoonish at times but it's an easy watch (plus he is one intense kisser)

@Taz-mania Chen Rui Feng is so busy. I want to watch one of his drama last month with Yang Fan yet I still haven't watch it.

Fair! I just like to see the subtle ways other versions are redone. IE: how wildly different yet somehow the same some of the Tempting Heart or Guo Fen Ye adaptations were.

Haven't watch any versions of both dramas except for The Fiery Young Marshal which I dropped.

I think the only drama I watched in two versions were Liang Si Wei's and Wang Pei Yan's (with Liang Wen Jing) dramas where ML is the younger brother of FL's amnesiac now ex-fiancee marrying FL. Plot wise, it's exactly the same, but the vibes I receive were completely different.

I tried Wang Yi Ran and Yang Shu Yu version of Li Zhuo Yang and Zhang Jin Yi's transmigrated FL being ML/amnesiac CEO's live-in girlfriend which as far as I know has 4 versions. And then someone said it has open ending for S2 so I dropped it.

It's amazing how these days everything has sequel. I didn't even watch that Day and Night with Liang Si Wei, Zhang Jin Yi, Zhang Bai Yun/Ka Rong, Tan Yan Yan, Liu Yu Hang, Zhu Xiao Xue/Zhai Yi Ying but when I saw it has S3 from youtube post, I went oh thanks God I didn't follow it. But I think I'll watch upcoming 24 July drama with Liu Hao Qun, Deng Ling Shu, Chu Zi Jun, and Zhang Ying Fei. It seems to have some similarities with A Family of Three in One Class but instead of three, this has four family members. All at the age of 18. That has awesome casts, I hope it'll be done good.

Just start watching it, but here a short summary I read and I shortened:

Transmigrated FL, a modern forensic doctor, now a concubine immediately being accused of poisoning ML, the powerful minister/her husband so she save him and later solving several problems for him using her modern forensic knowledge. Later on he'll give up power to follow her to save lives after exposing the true villain.
