I watched less vertical dramas these days, the last one I finished was Li Shi Yao and Mi Qi's Worthy of My Throne. It's a cliche one but it's fun. FL was the emperor's niece, her father fake his death to become a spy in another kingdom thus help the emperor solving some problems. To be able to go to her father's place she must leave a heir for their family so she chose a scholar and help him to become an official. However, before the wedding he's playing around with a cousin in her house, even saying he would take this cousin as an equal wife, so she thrown the two scumbags out after hitting them and looked for another candidate for the father of her children. Then she saw ML. ML was a playboy with bad reputation but when FL testing him, she knew he's not like the gossip, so she decided to marry him.

It's worth watching even though it's cliche, every enemies met horrible end (like two deaths and one bankrupt and crippled-not done by her). FL was cool and ML was emotional. They're a good match and complementing each other very well. 💓

Not new but a good rebirth revenge historical drama

I think this was an older drama but I can't find the Eng sub so I was watching with Sudo sub. You guys are so good with finding alternate links with Eng sub so thought I should try here.

I already finish the previous vertical drama I posted and it was so good. FL approached ML because she wanted to extort money from her real mother/ML's stepmother since back then she took her father's working injury's compensation and left him then after ML's father got hit by a car, he got delayed treatment because no one helped and they have no money for advanced treatment. Unexpectedly ML and FL fell in love for real but then FL's mother using this situation to her advantage and so FL and ML lived together as step-siblings before going back to lovers just to be separated by FL's mother who threatened her with her father's life. Until 5 years later. FL thought ML was the one sending pseudo-incest accusation letter to the hospital where she worked and sending her a package with a recording teddy bear which she left behind back then. Unexpectedly when she visited him, she got captured and they lived together. Many things happened, but later on she met ML's rich fiancee and decided to leave him after the engagement party. After the engagement part, FL realized three important things which were FL's mother was the one sending online letter and package to the hospital, the engagement was fake, and that ML's father was killed by FL's mother. So she decided to help him and so they succesfully bring down FL's mother and gain back everything originally meant for ML and they got their happy ending even after knowing that back then FL aborted their child because she miscarried being stressed by FL's comatose father's death.

Dai Gao Zheng and Wang Ge Ge

FL's father hit ML's mother's car (which also have FL and ML inside the car). FL reported her father and her father got arrested. Many years after that, FL using her late high school best friend's name to work part time in Hong Kong while studying law in college. She then met ML at her work, feeling familiar she approached him and then they fell in love and dating after several misunderstanding solved. But actually ML (who's using fake name) was that kid whose mother was killed by her father. After finding out that fact in which ML told her about how he wanted to find out whose behind his mother's murder since FL's father was hired, FL went to confirm this fact with her jailed father and found out that he was indeed hired and that the person hiring her father sent her tuition money regularly. All her life she felt guilty thinking that her father killed ML's mother because she helped her when she was a child being beaten by her father, now the guilt was even deeper now that she enjoyed the dirty money her father earned so she decisively made a plan to disappear from ML's life. Until two years later they met again.

FL was a great person. Her moral compass was perfect. And she never afraid to stand against unfairness. ML was such a perfect man. He treated everyone kindly and he supported FL to be independent and be a successful carreer woman. Growing up with a father who limit his move and burn his files related to his mother's car accident and with a step-mother and a step-sibling, he grown so well. I seriously think his father was suspicious, which may mean his father killed his mother or his father protected him from dangerous situation. Will wait the answer on S2.

Oh I'm watching this one. Was the ending a cliffhanger? I might just wait for season 2 if that is the case. I find recently so many vertical dramas have S2.
