Plot: After escaping a painful marriage, Jiang Wan hides away in a small town to start over. She unexpectedly takes in both a baby and the injured He Wenjing, a cold and powerful man who soon becomes part of her unconventional little family. When her young son immediately starts calling him "Dad," their reluctant cohabitation slowly develops into genuine affection — while Jiang Wan's troublesome ex and He Wenjing's wealthy family bring new complications.
There were some funny moments in this. The underwear photo shoot, lol.

Okay, any ideas on the name of this historical drama or any of the actors in it? I am shocked that I cant place a name with anyone! It has the look of a 2004 or early 2005 drama (shocking that vsd have come so far in such a short time).
This plot was similar to Feng Jun (Phoenix Lord) with Shen Hao Nan & Wang Xiao Yi - which was great! This one was not as good, but still, enjoy a reverse harem type :)*Ignore the YT tile, not accurate description

FL: Cheng Lin MiaoIt’s a good drama where the couple has a strong understanding, transparency, and love from the very beginning. The 2nd ML’s character won’t make you angry; instead, you’ll find him funny. Watching him get shut down by the ML and constantly pester the FL with things like, “I don’t agree with this or that,” is hilarious as if he can control other people’s choices. Another beautiful thing about this drama is that the leads aren’t intimidated by this ex, which makes his antics even funnier.
I enjoyed this. I have not seen Yu Shang Xu in a while; both he and FL were good in this. 💜

Okay, I need some help with this one as I was a little confused for this plot. I am sure there are cultural differences that I do not understand and then add to that speech translation. But why so much angst about them being together? It seemed like she was also from a decent family, even if not as rich. But they went to the same schools growing up and lived the same lifestyle. And what was with the whole his family killed her grampa/dad? IDK, I feel like that was not explained well. All great acting, but this is not on my rewatch list. I missed the first one with Chen Si and Hou Cheng Yue, and if it was in this same tone, I am inclined to pass...
