Season 3 is out. Now starting it. A fun one.

I had seen another version of this, but it only had Season 1. Thank you for highlighting this drama , I ended up watching all three seasons in one go! It’s truly beautiful, filled with emotions, and full of fun and laughter that keeps you entertained throughout.

I really loved the direction, screenplay, setups, and performances  everything felt just right. I did notice a few minor flaws, but they were easy to overlook.

Ah. Yes, but on dailymotion the videos that's newer are freezing. The older ones have white sun. But you could try your luck.

Yes, I'm always laughing watching them interacting. Wan Peng Yan is especially funny. And the grandpa whose favorite line is 'mommy' is superb. I really love the plot. Flaws? Imo, the character Zeng Hui played is flawed. I think at first maybe the scripwriter want to make a 100 year old man become younger (in the end of season 1) and have love line with Li Ke Yi but it will ruin the plot. So he just keep on appearing bringing some plot.

It’s a really nice drama , the scenes aren’t dragged out, and there’s no unnecessary long dialogue. Everything stays to the point. Even the ridiculous or villain scenes are kept just as much as needed. The couple has great chemistry, the male lead’s family is good, and the story flows smoothly. Overall, it’s a well-balanced and enjoyable drama.

This is such a fantastic drama, both visually and performance-wise. The production is top-notch—sets, costumes, hairstyles, makeup, jewelry, lighting, direction, and the screenplay are all executed beautifully. The flow of the story is smooth, with well-written dialogues and scenes that don’t feel dragged out or unnecessarily long. The intimacy between the couple is on fire, and their relationship is well-developed. The female lead doesn’t cling to the past but adapts to the present situation, which is refreshing. The male lead’s jealousy adds a great dynamic to the drama.

There’s not a single frustrating moment, and the balance of conflict, villains, and spicy elements is perfect. It keeps the story engaging without overloading it or making it feel bland. Everything that needed to stand out—whether visually or through performances—has done so brilliantly. The teamwork between both the on-screen and behind-the-scenes teams is evident, and it shows. Great job all around—yes i found some issue , The female lead's red-orange eyeshadow circle looks a bit weird. It almost looks like someone punched her, haha!  The climax, especially the entire conflict scene with the villains, didn’t impact me as much as I had hoped. That was the only slight drawback. But even with that, this drama still deserves a solid 10/10!

This drama is giving me vibes of two of my favorite shows that I love to rewatch  The Story of Ming Lan and Lian Lian Bu Wang.

SML is difficult to understand, need a beating. FL has a few disturbing head/hair ornaments and she looked so pale, but she's okay. The hysterical emperor's death is confusing, does he die a sudden death because of madness or does he die because he hit his head?

There’s no proper explanation for that in the drama, so I’m confused too. I’m also not happy with the whole situation  he didn’t kill him with his own hands just to protect the Xie family’s reputation, yet people are still cursing the Xie family. So in the end, he didn’t really achieve anything. That’s how I see it.

But yes, the romance part of the drama was really beautiful  two lonely souls finding each other.
