Just watched this drama with Li Youlin & Dong Yueyu and really enjoyed it! It had all the feels and even some tropes. But the great thing was this was a new storyline, a little different that I had not seen before. The ML has a heredity terminal illness. Through circumstances he and the FL contract marry. Through their interactions they find love and him the will to live.

HE?

YES; thankfully. I was nervous about a third of the way in so I skimmed some of the comments and saw it was safe to continue watching. I am not brave right now like @autumn iris where can watch some sad dramas. I am too weak, Ha! I hate crying. I want dramas that give me the good butterflies and make me smile.

I am the same! I will check the ending if I suspect it might take a tragic turn.

Actually I haven't watch Li You Lin's drama because I thought it will have bad ending. I meant I knew it had sad story but I was not sure about the ending, so I told a friend to watch it first. She's my laboratory mouse. I sent her links so that she'd told me which one not worth to watch and which one has bad ending.

Until now I haven't watch Yang Peng Cheng's You Cannot Hear My Love and Wang Kai Mu's Daybreak You've Finally Returned. But seriously, Liu Xiao Xu may be the one that have a lot of bad ending drama. Though he can also be funny like when he guest starring in Pi De Sheng's latest drama as the brother in-law of Pi De Sheng's younger self, he's imo best at portraying smiling outside while crying inside. I think I've watched 3 titles of him with bad endings. Either his wife died of suicide and he also suicide, or his partner (also wife) died (he shot the bullet to kill her), or his companion died trying to protect him. There's another one drama of him I suspected will have bad endings (but I think it'll be either a lifetime jail time or death penalty) so I haven't watch it. I just need to find the right time to watch bad ending dramas.

Me too, I cannot watch sad endings. Otherwise, I will be sad for 2 days.

Getting too long to quote! The last sad drama I watched was the historical Chen Si & Lin Qiunai. It wrecked me for days.
I agree that Liu Xiao Xu can have some pretty heady dramas. I think he is a great actor but I screen the drama plots and reviews.
That is why I really like this group chat - so many good drams have been recommended. Thanks friends!!

There are so many websites available online today, but not all of them offer a good user experience. I usually check reviews before trying anything new. This particular platform has a clean layout and organized sections. Some users in forums were discussing it and comparing features. During those conversations, Kisskh was also referenced quite often. It shows that people are actively talking about similar platforms in the same space.

Ahaha, I always love to talk.

Oh, I only watched like 5 minutes of it. I don't like Chen Si's styling there. He looks best in suits or white shirt with vest haha. So it has bad ending, dodge a bullet.

Quite nice one.
Plot - FL gets played by her sister which went on honeymoon with FLs fiance and sended FL to her blind fiance. [yeah groom swap]. FL has to stay with her new fiance and pretend to be her sister cause he is too powerful and his wrath would destroy her family.

its more complicated, but thats premise.

Quite nice one. FL takes home stray dog, but he is in truth shapeshifting CEO of her company.
Got in way interesting ending too. Usually hate such endings but here it was okay.

Great one. Lil melancholic, but not tragedy its kinda redemption romance story.
Plot -
FL is a wealthy heiress, but her family was on the brink of bankruptcy. The ML stepped in and saved them with his own money on the condition that she marry him. Soon after, he had her boyfriend sent to prison, which convinced her that he was controlling her life.

For five years, FL resented him and kept her distance from their son, believing that ML had planned everything to trap her and destroy her past.

Only now, after learning the truth, she begins to see how much he has done for her in silence. She also realizes how deeply her coldness has hurt him and their child. As her view shifts, she slowly starts to notice the quiet ways he has always protected her while she pushed him away.

《小满人间》*Xiaoman Renjian* (The Lesser Fullness of Grain)
ML: Cai Xin Yang 蔡欣洋
FL: Ma Qiu Yuan 马秋元
2ML: Zhao Ting Yi 赵廷义
2FL: Zhang Chu Xuan 张楚萱
3ML: Li Jia Hao 李嘉豪

Ensemble cast. I think ZTY and ZCX should be the main leads since they have the most screen time. The ML + FL didn't show up until halfway as the adult version of the kids. This reminded me of Go Ahead.

Thanks, added to my PTW.

So it's clear who gets the biggest salary haha.

Imo, Go Ahead is a bit like pseudo-incest. 😅 I think Cai Xin Yang's drama is more like Lin Yi's Memory of Encaustic Tile or maybe Northward/Northbound but long drama is always more tragic, it's the seasonings, love them. But I have only watched like 10 minutes of Cai Xin Yang's drama. Looks promising, but that day I'm busy watching Wang Chen Peng and A Shang and some of Han Yu Tong and Liang Si Wei, will continue it sometimes in near future.

Oh, Wang Hao Zhen looks even more handsome in there. I read that drama is really hot with french kiss (like using tongue). Should I watch it?

Wang Hao Zhen always delivers in his acting - however, this role for him just seemed off to me. Not sure if I like him playing a simp. He portrayed loyalty - for sure. But this one was just "meh" for me.

I was thinking the same when I read the synopsis. The story didn't appeal to me. I hate cold and unlikable FL and simp ML who will do anything for her, regardless of how she treated him. When she starts to treat him well after she finds out, I see it more as guilt than love.

Same if the genders were reversed. I recently saw one where the ML was cold and silent with the FL but she still treats him so well and considerate.

Yeah there is a lot of guilt, FL also said she doesnt love him and only feels guilty multiple times. But think at end of drama it was already love still with guilt. I quite like that FL acted more or lesss cold and observant slowly making small steps towards repairing relationship. Rather than turning 180 degree right away. And yeah ML is more or less big simp, which is moreover quite mentally broken after five years of her cold treatment. Kinda same with her son
