Both are good Wang Yiran Version give some explicit dialogue with few plot hole while Huang Haowen version give more natural relationship development between main couple with excessive cut of explicit dialogue. For FL it depends of the preference, I prefer Tian Tianyi one though since Tan Yan Yan seems too calm for this.

I initially on dilemma over which one to watch (mostly because I prefer Huang Hao Wen over Wang Yi Ran), but several people said Tian Tian Yi was not good at acting, her inner thought was not translated, but Huang Hao Wen was good as always (but Wang Yi Ran was more expressive) and there's Li Sheng Jie iirc as their driver. Anyway, I watched Wang Yi Ran and Tan Yan Yan's version because they're both good actors, just not yet finished it.

The original 2023 long version was very good - had adorable ML/son interactions.
I liked the 2023 version and going to watch this now. I am curious to see how they shortened it.

These days there's so many remakes from long dramas. I'm not sure which one is good. And I'm not sure if I want to watch something that will have a sequel (it's very likely, looking at their predecessors) for who knows how many seasons.
I'm catching up with older vertical dramas (completed The Crush and continuing More than a Childhood Friend) to get some balance. I think I'll keep doing that for the next few days.

FL: Liu Xi Yu 刘夕语He Jian Qi is a very good actor. I like most of his dramas, especially his recent short drama Late to Love. Nice pairing with Liu Xi Yu.
I just realize this is a remake of Rising with the Wind (2023) with Simon Gong! Excellent drama.
I am curious to see how this remake compares. I loved RWTW.

Maybe I should have read ALL the comments first instead of investing nearly 3 hours!! So he liked her in 2007 and this ends in 2025 and they weren't together in nearly 20 years!! Absolutely ridiculous!! Talk about slow pace. It makes me not want to watch the other couples and their stories if is by the same director.
I find Wang Hao Zhen recent dramas very disappointing. I don't even want to pick them up anymore.
