I'm enjoying this one with Lan Bo, much more interesting that the previous arranged marriage one with Liu Yu Hang. This is the first drama I have heard the FL said, "you have taken all the steps towards me and I haven't made much effort!" Many dramas were like this but most of the time, FLs just take it for granted so I'm glad at least this FL is self-aware.

I agree. Latley I find many dramas heavy on the "deep emotions". And I am not sure how much I like the dramas that span decades of time. Maybe its just not what I am in the mood for right now.
I skipped towards the end after finding out they won't get together until near the end and I think they said something along the line of "I don't think we wasted our time because we grew in the process". BUT I was thinking, YES you wasted your time. You're now in your 40s, you could have grew together and have a bunch of kids by now! And you wasted 3 hrs of my time!
That's just my opinion. I'm sure many like the slow-paced emotional dramas.
I hope never to watch this one! Let me see which drama you are talking about so I can skip it!

I'm watching 41 minutes of this drama because seems like it won't need a sequel according to my friend. There's this choppy feeling like it was cutting some parts while it's actually the full version. The editor sucks. But had to praise the scriptwriter for replacing the storyline of ML's original friend's bus accident to death by illness so that there's no need for other storyline to appear. Guess I'll continue it on another day.

Oh, seems like she did say that. I can't remember the detail tbh, it's been months but I enjoy it too. It came while I was still into skinships. And the story was decent. Now I'm checking more on older dramas, but it's still a hit or miss even after surveying a bit.
Guess I'll be focusing on normal-length dramas for now (I need to finish a few titles) until 10 July right after watching Liu Xiao Xu's upcoming vertical today.

what do you mean by 41 mins and a sequel? This drama is 2+ hrs and it was completed with a HE.
I mean I watched 41 minutes out of the 2 hours and 23 minutes total length because my friend who completed it told me it won't need a sequel because yes it has a happy ending. If it has a sequel, I won't even start it. Sorry for making you confused.

I am leaning towards it just ending and not having another season. However, I would not mind Lan Bo survivng and getting another chance to watch him looking so yummy.
