Is there a way to only browse series/movies by a certain country? Such as if I'm only looking for Japanese content or something? I can't seem to find this feature on my own, if it exists. Thanks.

Yes, click on a tag/genre and then, on the side, there's advanced filter where you can click whatever country you want (the second option below where you'd choose drama/movie/whatever).

Advanced Search is hidden. You have to use something else to get to it. Like emerald's tag/genre trick from a drama/movie page. The one I stumbled on, and the only one I was able to find my way back to when I was new here, is via Explore > Top Movies (or Top Shows).

It's a remarkably poor design flaw, one of many. Search filters really shouldn't be buried a layer down on a database site. Poor user experience and it will generate misleading statistics for the devs, but it's what they've chosen to do.

Anyway, that's how it works. Bookmark it or find the trick you'll remember to get there.

Within Advanced Search itself, you have options to specify country and other things. You can include a genre by clicking once, so there's a green check next to it, or exclude a genre by clicking it twice, so there's a red X.  You can also include or exclude a particular tag or theme in their section if you want.

I'm new to using the site and have definitely noticed a lack in certain features or very complicated ways to access other features. I've actually run into quite a few things that make me say 'why'. I can't imagine these things haven't been brought to the site's attention at some point.

Not sure how often the site is truly updated (other than the members providing all the content info for free for them) but maybe with the revenue from all the ads and VIP fees, maybe they could work on giving the interface and functionality to make the site better,

Welcome to the site. You're settling in well.

They have been brought to the devs' attention, many times. There's a record of it in the Suggestions section at the bottom of the forums. Mostly it's on users to help each other learn to navigate the site and its idiosyncrasies. It's frustrating but it's the best we can do.

Thank you friend... I'm having fun either way. My biggest needs were having a site to find and track asian dramas and also be in a community with ppl in the same fandoms. So I suppose I can deal with a little imperfections <3
