Quantcast

sigh I’ve been watching a few YouTube videos from the Tencent Awards and other events, and I have to ask—maybe it’s just me? I adore Cheng Liu and Bai Lu, and I’ve been eagerly waiting for their new drama. January can’t come fast enough… or so I thought.

When I see Bai Lu with her other leading actors, she always seems relaxed and joyful, and the energy feels mutual. With Cheng Liu, though, it felt different. He came across as incredibly well-mannered and respectful, without question—but Bai Lu didn’t seem to smile as much. That caught my attention and tugged at my emotions a bit.

She did speak with him and pose for photos, of course, but something about her usual spark felt quieter, and I wondered if Cheng Liu sensed it too—or if my thoughts are simply running ahead of me. Either way, I don’t want overthinking to take away from the excitement and anticipation I have for their drama.

PLEASE HELP!

Regarding Mo Li, I did read some gossips back then. Apparently, the costumes were pretty bad and Bai Lu's team asked for some changes. Regarding Bai Lu, she also got into some controversies regarding cheating in an eating game in Keep Running. And yeah, there's Zhang Ling He's there. They're gossiped to date about two years but his mom felt his son was too good for Bai Lu so they ended their relationship for good. But it's gossip so I don't know, maybe it's false, but they indeed looked distant started from earlier this year or late last year as compared to before, like complete strangers. But most probably Bai Lu just got tired and need some rests. She kept filming back and forth, with little rest. And she used her drama filming holidays to filming Keep Running. I can't imagine working nonstop like that.

And anyway, she was just there to promote her upcoming drama as one of the most anticipated upcoming drama, not winning some awards (She has no 2025 Tencent drama). Maybe that kind of feeling like a guest to fill the venue? Well, she was called iQIYI queen with ehm 3? of her dramas airing on iQIYI in 2025, and she was treated like a queen at iQIYI screaming night? Yeah, that iQIYI award show, I forgot its name.

Chinese drama airing schedule is a big mystery, January is too early for Mo Li imo, not that I ptw it.

I don’t actually know if Bai Lu is in a good place. As for Cheng Li and Bai Lu? I just can’t see them flopping in Mo Li if Bai Lu is not in a good place.

What I do know is that she was once close to Zhao Lusi, and now there’s no visible interaction and it was very visible during the IQIYI anniversary. That silence feels strange — not dramatic, just noticeable. When people have shared history and suddenly stop acknowledging one another, it naturally raises questions. Not accusations — questions.  We don’t know what happened behind the scenes, and we may never know. Careers, pressure, misunderstandings, exhaustion — any of these can quietly shift relationships without a public explanation.  I’m not here for rumors or invented storylines. I simply observe what’s no longer there, and sometimes absence speaks louder than noise. Whatever the reason, I hope both women are supported, protected, and surrounded by people who genuinely have their backs — especially after everything Zhao Lusi has endured.

Eh? Isn't Zhao Lusi only attending Tencent Video All Star Award Night out of 3 award shows? I think they should still be friends. It's just both have their own misery and there's Tan Jian Ci in between them so it's not very convenience to talk. You don't have to worry, Zhao Lu Si already sign a new drama (The producer is Guo Jing Ming, the title is Bai Yao Pu) and her drama where she left shooting midway is also going to air soon (I'm not sure why they insisted on airing half-baked drama).

I don't have expectation for Mo Li, seems like the plot don't match the novel. Bet it'll be like riding the novel popularity with completely new story. And there's no chemistry in the first trailer. I'll save my time for another drama.

Thank you for replying and I'll keep that in mind.
