Why would my internet network Just banned kisskh? When I Can use It To Watch my Turkish dramas in sites just like It

IF it is a ban on kisskh specifically, then likely because kisskh is both popular and using servers in countries which let it ignore takedown notices, and some of the companies holding the rights to the work it steals have decided they're losing enough money it's worth the effort.

I’m not going to use a VPN and specially the one that they told me to use like promoting it like it’s was a collab. I never had the need to use one and i want to keep it that way.

So find another. Look for a reputable one, there are several. A good VPN opens up more possibilities, including many which are legal in that country. It makes no sense that you're willing to tolerate the risks of a pirate site like kisskh but categorically refuse to use a VPN.

I would of had appreciated way more If It was a reply sharing sites that I Can replace kisskh with

You really are focused on demanding people give you precisely what you want exactly how you want it, aren't you? Sometimes the best answer is understanding the bigger situation and Chun Mo Rionnag took the time to help you with that.

As for replacements, it all depends on what you want to watch. Have you tried a web search on any of the titles? Have you looked on the MDL pages for available services? Are you willing to pay a subscription or do you expect your entertainment to be free?

Google (Chrome) gets along way too well with enforcers of law and with service providers pretty much everywhere that they operate at all…

I used Chrome as example of even mainstream browser worked just fine opening illegal sites as long as you know what you are doing.

I wasn't that keen to use Chrome either but I have my main account sync with it (I already use android so what kind of privacy I want anymore LOL) and I want to save my hardware resources from running another browser at the same time.

Chrome can be ran with multiple profiles and you can even stop it from syncing, but I always use incognito so the cache will be cleared upon closing and I don't have to keep the "history" to save HDD space.

Brave isn't that "private" either. When I was using it before, it tricked my system to always "think" it's a default browser even if I did not set it as such.

Anyway, the idea of using different browsers is so that you can troubleshoot when problem happened. The codes work differently so you can check how it behaves on another. Brave for example built on Chromium codes (parent of Chrome) so there's no point in using Brave alongside Chrome.

Whatever it is, it's up to you to use whatever browser you're comfortable with and avoid anything you "scared". The choice is yours.

.nl is working

I used KissKh for years and used the same internet service for years to, and I never had a problem. This weekend it’s when it started to go crazy on me. Why would my internet network Just banned kisskh? When I Can use It To Watch my Turkish dramas in sites just like It, the media player works just fine also someone was kind enough to share sites with me to use and those work perfectly, no problem watching their videos.

The videos you see on those websites, normally are stored at different places. So an update at the source site could probably prevent it from loading. Now that I read the first post again, I guess you have an error written in "black rectangle" over the video player?

If that's the case, it's probably a geoblock thing. The only solution is to use VPN. If you don't mind you can just use the browser extension kind of VPN (on desktop/laptop). It will only affect your browser connection instead of your whole network.

The problem with this kind of error is that, you have to find the unblocked country one by one.

The thing is, If you can find the same show at other places and able to play it on your internet, why worry about the place it did not play? You also don't have to worry about VPN since you're reluctant to use it.

@TimiZero I wasn’t replying specifically to your remark on Chrome but to their comment about privacy since they don’t seem to understand (or maybe just don’t feel like taking the time to grasp) some basic means of securing their Internet access and possibly their income if they live somewhere that issues fines or worse. Chrome/browser selection wasn’t my main point but a side thought tossed in; free but safe vpn options were the main reason I jumped in at all.

Still, while I am content with Firefox and Orion, private mode for any site I don’t want to store data from (I don’t want to be logged out every visit to here so don’t exclusively use private browsing), Brave is a much-beloved alternative for not storing info, and at least on my machines it’s never done anything like try to override my default at all or even prompt me after the first use when I tell it no and configure everything, so I guess it is different versions/OS behavior at play. I’ve only used it on Mac, iOS and Windows, not Android, though, and drastically minimize what I do on my phone anyway since mobile phones are far more vulnerable as there is more to gain from getting access to it, especially for people who use apps to pay at stores and do things I wouldn’t in a million years like accessing bank/credit card accounts/have any apps linked to money on their phones.😬I only have a couple of apps installed at all and deleted everything like FB and other data mining apps (which is most all of them). I’ll just use my laptop and tablet that aren’t so tied to my identity, don’t have all my contacts in them, and don’t have things running in the background like phone apps tend to do by force.I barely exist online and my real name is only on those financial statements and a couple on shops I have spent money at, the pet food store and a couple of tea companies able to sell me off. 🤷🏻‍♀️
