Was going to have salmon tonight but found it was beyond its prime. Ick. Pivoted and had fettuccini Alfredo with a side of tomato and the last of the basil.

We went out to a new place for my birthday lunch. It’s a bit of a drive but was worth it. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen, hubby had Chashudon. We also had Gyoza. I had a pot of green tea, hubby had Coke. Delicious meal. I could have bathed in that broth. Later we had bday cake and jasmine tea.

For a vegetarian option we ordered Indian food last night. The portions were so big we hardly made a dent! Got the paneer tikka masala, aloo gobi (potatoes and cauliflower), and chana dal (chickpeas and lentils) with basmati rice and naan.
