What’s for dinner?

Our New Year's meal-12 bean veggie soup, greens, and cornbread.   Black-eyed peas are supposed to be lucky but I really dislike them,  if there are a few in the soup I can take them.  Greens and cornbread also represent good luck.  If nothing else, it's healthier than what we've been eating during the holidays with company!

Oh, I missed out on that Thread by now, Butterfly, so here we go: Left over's from the New Year party, some pita style bread, spice and cream spread, Serano bacon, black & green olives with herbs :-)

Sounds like tasty leftovers!  And no cooking!

Leftovers from last days' festivities: roast chicken with potatoes and sweet potatoes, spinach pie with feta cheese, pumpkin soup with vegetables and herbs, sugar-free tiramisu.

There’s a scene in The Incredibles where they were having leftovers night. We did that with everyone the last day.  What do you feel like? It was a mix and match of different cultural traditions all in one meal! And nearly everything was finished off! :)
