SMAP to sing theme song of NHK morning drama “Umechan-sensei”

SMAP will provide the theme song for NHK’s next morning drama, “Umechan-sensei” (starring actress Horikita Maki). This will be the first time ever that a Johnny's group has sung the theme song for an NHK Asadora.

Producer Iwatani Kanako explained that it has been 20 years since SMAP’s debut, and during that time SMAP has been a leading force in Japan’s entertainment world. Because their voices have brought smiling faces to countless fans, she felt confident that they would be able to help people start off each day with a smile.

SMAP’s new song was written specifically for the drama, and it is described as a positive and encouraging song titled “Sakasama no Sora.” The song was written by Aso Tetsuro and composed and arranged by Kanno Yoko.

Umechan-sensei” stars Horikita as a young woman trying to become a local doctor just after the end of World War II. The series will begin airing on April 2nd.
Haha I had to share this, It's very giggle-worthy XD Why put on two snuggies and a plastic bag??

VIDEO: Japanese Guy Goes Bonkers After Getting Banned on PSN

Have you ever been banned from an online service? Even if it makes you a little sour, most people would shrug and accept their fate, but not this Japanese gamer! Instead, he donned a plastic bag, a Snuggie, and put on his very best forced delinquent accent to show that he's mad as hell and he ain't gonna take it anymore!

The ban hammer apparently came down on the guy after trading off messages and insults following a heated argument in Call of Duty. What could have caused the fight? Why, jealousy over his own elite skills, of course. With all those hardcore rolled R's, I'd personally like to imagine he looks something like this under the bag.

But a REAL tough guy would've been able to rip that manga anthology in half with the fury of a thousand yakuza.

YES! lol i noticed that too. and I especially loved the part where he had to stop mid rant because he inhaled the plastic bag he's wearing over his head (at like 2:20-25). Also the 2 snuggie ensemble is TO DIE FOR honey.

I watched them online a few years back. I have no idea it they are still there. I think they were released on DVD, but it's probably not subbed. The fansubs that I found were on YT and Veoh.
