Rather he played the role of I'm so weak, giving in, helpless, scared look very well. In reality he's playing everyone with his so innocent, scared, helpless look. I like the scenes where he sent his a**hole father (sorry for the rude language but his father & brother are truly evil ) on his merry way ! While he's clearly livid yet he doesn't even raise his voice, he said his piece, just let his dog father know he knew all along why his father let him live just because he's just a sacrifice to prolong his father life ( more like immortal king thing, crazy I guess) and also let his father know that he's in this sorry state because his beloved son feed him with poison pill - you know mix poison in the gold pill aka immortal pill - but gold itself is poison anyway I found that the idea of immortal/gold pill thing totally hilarious)! While he's twisting psychological kife 🤔 🤣 aka saying his piece, he's acting like chatting at the dinner table with family - well something along the lines 😜 - then later when his father died he cleaned his hands with towel and then throw away the towel on his dead father face, smirk and then leave. Acting like every thing is perfectly normal. If someone is not in the room and witness with their eyes, no one would think he sent his father on his merry way. Hehehehe you better watch yourself dear. After watching the scenes, I'm like I don't need the main cp, this is a first for me, and I just need this grey character story/scenes more.

The first 19 episodes of the show is just so so. Only starting from episode 20 , the drama gets more interesting. Well at least the parts with Bi Wen Jun's scenes 😊 Now his character is becoming darker but I'm loving it. Hehehehe Happy weekend to you too my dear!

While my hubby is watching sports with his cousins and buddies I'm watching dramas. While watching I'm wondering the logic behind ML being shy because FL or ladies seeing their chest scene. ML covering his chest and angry scenes? Why? I mean it's ancient times (and in some dramas it's modern times) but still it's not like they are ladies with boobs and tits? What's up with all that over reaction (well at least in my opinion over reaction) ? 🤔 I just don't get it. Hehehehe just wondering the logic behind those scenes. Just wanna know what do you guys think?

 Because in historical dramas if you get a huge, this is already the pinnacle of intimacy. Thus FL seeing a ML's chest is a step further. This is why they get shy, in my view.

Hahaha maybe but the funny thing is FL isn't shy seeing the ML's chest. And in some (well most dramas) they're already married. What's the point? Guess something I will never understand the logic behind it! Hahaha maybe I'm too forward or something along the lines 😜 Maybe culture thing or mindset or something like that I guess. When I was dating my ex , I checked out my ex body 👅 well maybe it's me or my 17 years old hormones or something but I just thought it's a normal human thing. Not something to be ashamed of or shy. And if my teachers from etiquette classes knew my thoughts they might die or at least have a heart attack clutching their pearls and all that. Guess maybe it's one of the reasons my ex become my ex hahaha can't handle me being wild (well I'm wild , too forward, too willful, unyielding, hard headed according to him) ! Guess I should have thank him because then I met my hubby who loves me just the way I am. No judging, let me be me without trying to change or try to fit me into the mold of who I should be according to his preference like my ex. Guess you need to meet to the toad 🐸 before meeting your Prince Charming! 😊

On another note, I know that some people love the idea of having a girl/boyfriend and being in love. I am not saying this is how your ex behaved. But when people are in love with being in love or having a patner. It is more about their image and  status than the lover.  I am happy that you found the real match for you.

Hahaha my ex is not the type of person who loves the idea of having GF or being in love with someone. He just has the kind of mindset that his GF is a woman who is soft, wear (preferably long ones) dresses, cook, bake, be a perfect little house wife after getting married, that sort of thing. I love dresses but not always. Prefer pants/leggings and shorts over dresses though as I move around a lot doing things I love. Guess he saw me baking, cooking quite a lot so he has the wrong idea of who I really am . Too bad what he saw was just only part of me. When I don't fit the image of the perfect GF he wants, he wants to change me, try to fit me into the mold of perfect GF he wants. When he said I should wear dresses more, I said k but I always make sure to wear pants/leggings and shorts more. Hehehehe guess we're just not meant to be to begin with. At the end when I was really fed up with him we have a huge fight, I punched and kneeled him where it hurts the most ( aka his family jewels 🤣🤣🤣😜) . I also slashed his most beloved car and smashed it with baseball bat early next morning Hahaha I (well my brothers gave me more than enough money at that time so don't have to worry about$ Thank God) paid the bills for repair and all that but even though childish and totally stupid I just felt so satisfying to do that. My Dad, my brothers (including my cousins) , cousin sisters and my uncles just ask me why. I just told why I broke up with him and why I was so angry. They all gave me pocket money plus presents and pampered me to heaven much to the dismay of the iron lady (aka my mom)! I got an earful from my mom (6 long hours of why my actions were wrong, really I secretly checked the time) and have to do all the house work alone for a month as punishment! But she do take me out for shopping, spas every week though. So I was secretly smug. Hehehehe bad bad bad Evie

I understand. From his point of view, he wanted the perfect girlfriend. I also get the impression that he wanted a stereotypical, simplistic kind of woman.

People are complex. It's a pity he tried to change the way you are.  Frankly, I'm not sure that kind of behaviour can benefit a relationship in the long run.
I personally think :  people really change if they want to. So there is no point forcing someone into doing something that he or she doesn't like. It always backfires at some point of time. 

Badass Evie retaliated LOL. The man learned it the hard way.

Hahaha I don't know he learned the hard way or not nor do I care to know. Learned or not is his business since I broke up with him. The funny thing is I'm 50 or 60% closet to his perception of perfect GF/Wife. Hahaha some people are just not meant to be I guess. While he's still single I'm happily married with 5 kids so I guess in some way like you said learned the hard way?🤔 Another funny thing is my ex's crush set me up with my hubby for blind date! Hahaha 🤣 🤣 🤣 Guess when she heard we broke up, she's afraid we'll be back together I think! So I guess I also have to thank my ex and his crush for letting me meet my hubby. Hehehehe Evie with silver linings! You know I met my hubby 3 months after I broke up with my ex, a week later I met my hubby, my hubby took me to meet his family at his grandparents home, by family I mean the whole family including his cousins, uncles, aunts and cousins too. Married after dating over 2 months later. Guess definitely the case of if it's meant to be together, then together I think.  Because like me my cousin dated her study guide (aka one of her brother's childhood BF), but while I broke up, my cousin is now happily married with 6 kids. Only she married 5 years later than me and have kids immediately. Guess some people hit jack pot🤔😂 immediately! Sometimes fate/destiny or karma thing is really surprising!

Especially when you meet your perfect match. I kow some people who got engaged a month after meeting their wife or hubsand to be. In the begining I was amazed, because most of the time they previously broke up with a longtime partner. But now I understand that wwhen you find your perfect match things go very fast.

This is such a funny story.  I guess she was surprised when you and your hubby  got together so quickly. I wonder what came through her mind when she heard about your wedding.  Some people would call that a blessing in disguise. LOL

Hahahaha. It's the first time I have seen a crush's jealousy resulting in someone else's happy marriage. To me jealousy have alway been a bad  thing hahahaha.
