Hello! i just joined kisskh today because of my deep-rooted love for any K-drama or even C-drama. i would love to hear your opinion on recent KDramas you've watched, and if you have any recs, I am very much open to receiving them!

Hey! I’m an Indian guy who’s recently gotten hooked on C-dramas and K-dramas.

My very first C-drama was Eternal Love of Dream a few years ago. I watched it with English subtitles—it wasn’t easy at first, but I stuck with it and ended up falling in love with the show. I never thought I’d enjoy romance dramas as a guy, but that one completely won me over, and I became a big fan of Dilraba Dilmurat.

After that, I couldn’t watch many more because finding dubbed versions was hard, and with my office work keeping me busy, watching with subtitles just took too much time.

Fast forward to last month—now so many C-dramas are available in India on Netflix, Hotstar, and Amazon in Hindi dubbing, so binge-watching became much easier. My favorite trope is ancient fantasy rom-coms, and my favorite so far is Dance of the Sky Empire.

Eventually, I ran out of C-dramas and turned to Netflix for K-dramas. I was hesitant at first, but after watching My Demon, I was hooked! Now I love both C-dramas and K-dramas, though K-dramas are easier to find in my language, so I’ve been watching a lot of them lately.

Some of my recent favorites:

  • Business Proposal (loved how charming, lighthearted, and heartwarming it was!)

  • Destined With You

  • King the Land

I’m always open to recommendations, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on C-dramas or K-dramas—or maybe get to know you better!
