I haven't watched it, so my recs might be off the mark, but these dramas featured characters who live together with strangers:
Suika (slice of life)
Kokoro ga Pokitto ne (slice of life)
Share House no Koibito (rom-com, sort of)
this drama is not about people livin with stranger, but quite the contrary : a couple who has been living togeter for a loooong time :)
