I love hard rock, metal, and punk, so I'm predictably a big fan of Japanese rock and metal, especially visual kei and a number of anison artists like LiSA or GRANRODEO. But I also like pop/pop-rock bands like YOASOBI or Creepy Nuts, which I discovered through a couple of anime I liked. Overall, my favorite bands, besides the aforementioned GRANRODEO and YOASOBI, are X Japan, NOGOD, Matenrou Opera, D, and Bz. Speaking purely of Japanese music, of course.
